Chapter 12

Jade's POV:

Walking towards Perries door I was actually feeling nervous. I raised my hand to knock but found it was shaking from the nerves. My hand refused to inch closer to the door to tell her I was outside waiting. I stood frozen with my hand beside my head ready for it to make contact with the thick piece of wood before my eyes.

I took a deep breath finally regaining some sense in actually knocking. My knuckles were about to make the contact I should have done 5 minutes ago until the door flung open.

My jaw felt like it hit the ground looking at the sight in front of me. There stood my neighbour/student in the navy blue dress I bought for her. To say she looked breath taking would be an understatement because I couldn't manage to form a word at the point in time.

"Are you ok? You know you're going to catch flies and I will not be kissing you if you do!" her angelic voice filled my ears and I immediately shut my mouth at her words.

"You look absolutely stunning and breath taking" the words flowed out of my mouth faster then they ran through my mind. Those were three words I never thought I would say to anyone!

"You look breath taking too Jade" she smiled at me. I couldn't help the smile that spread from ear to ear on my face.

"So what were you doing standing outside my house for 5 minutes" she asked. I froze. Shit what do I say.

"I just.... you... uggh know..." i stuttered before she interrupted me.

"Jade....." her voice was like something a mother would use to her child to get them to tell the truth. I sighed before giving in.

"Fine, I was too nervous to knock" I say additedly while looking down at the ground. She placed one of her delicate fingers under my chin as she lifted my head up.

"Wow, Jade Thirlwall was too nervous to knock!" she joked around. I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up" I say quietly while slapping her hand away lightly. Her hands were now cupping my cheeks.

"Hey, I think it's really sweet you got nervous because of me" she says smiling. I smiled back and placed my hands on her waist.

"Can you please kiss me" I asked shyly. She giggled at me and brought her face closer to mine. Our lips were about to touch until someone cleared their throat behind us. Perrie pulled away and turned around. Her hands dropped from my face only to have one of her them entertwine with mine.

"Oh hey mum, this is Jade, Jade this is my mum Deborah or Deb whatever you want to call her" Perrie said gesturing her hands from me to her mum.

"It lovely to meet you Ms Edwards" I say extending my hand for her to shake.

"Please like Perrie said call me Deb, It's nice to finally put a face to this Jade she has been talking about so much!" Deb says shaking my hand gently.

"Muuuuum" Perrie groaned. I giggled.

"Aww what does she say?" I asked curiously. Perrie groaned again and dug her face into my neck which I thought was adorable.

"Just how beautiful you are. Whenever she talks about you her face always lights up and she blushes" her mum told me.

"Don't worry Perrie I know its true" I say hugging her. She pulls away from me and hugs her mum.

"Ok, we will be going now, bye mum!" she says while walking out the door with my hand firmly in hers.

"It was nice meeting you Deb" I smile using her name she told me to use.

"Bye gilries, have fun! But not too much!" she yells back. I start giggling again while walking to my car. I open the door for Perrie and make sure she's buckled in before getting into the drivers seat.

"So where are you taking me?" she asked innocently.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out love" I say while letting the car come to life. She just sighs in defeat because she knows I wont say it. I smile to myself and pull out of my driveway ready to take her on the best date of her life!

Whilst driving there wasn't much conversation happening between Perrie and myself, which was fine. We both just sat in a comfortable silence. It actually gave me time to think. I have actually never been on a proper date. If I feel lonely I just go to the bar, which is down the road. Obviously it's a bar only for gay people and I like it that way. There's pole dancers and strippers so the entertainment is great. I usually just go in there and girls swam around me, I pick which one is the prettiest and take her home and show her a good time.

The past 3 weeks I have known Perrie I have not stepped foot in that bar or had anyone over. I usually always call girls over. Oh apart from that one girl I had when Perrie saw but that doesn't really count. Point is I haven't been interested in any of them, or called them. My thoughts are always occupied by the beautiful blonde girl sitting beside me whom I was about to take out on a DATE!
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Perrie sqeal in excitement. I knew she would love me taking her to the amusement park.

"I'm a bit too dressed up for the amusement park don't you think Jadey?" she asked sitting in the car looking nervous.

"Of course you're not beautiful?" I say pulling the keys out of the ignition and getting out of the car. I walk around to Perries door and open it.

"C'mon" I say extending my hand for her to take. She happily laces her fingers between mine and stands up.

"I want you to have fun tonight. It's about us" I say wrapping my arm around her waist. I watched as a smile spread across her breathtaking face.I cocked an eyebrow at her and she seemed to notice my expression because she just giggled.

"What? I asked curiously as we walked closer to the stand where we were paying for the tickets.

"You said OUR night" she emphasised the our part. I realized what she meant and my eyes went wide.

"No I ugh... I didn't.... I just... you know" I stuttered out not being able to explain myself properly.

"Jade, it's ok. I don't think I have ever heard you stutter so much!" she says while cupping my cheeks.

"Like I admitted to you, I am really nervous. I kinda want this to be perfect" I say and for the first time ever I blushed. She smiled at me.

"You're blushing!!!!! But don't worry about it Jade, tonight will be perfect no matter what we do ok! Just being with you is perfect enough" she leant in and finally kissed me. My arms snaked around her waist as I pulled her closer. It was just a nice long simple kiss. I pulled away and stared into her beautiful eyes.

"C'mon lets go" I say taking her hand while walking towards the park.
