Chapter 21

Perrie’s POV:

Mum and myself had just finished cooking dinner and now I was setting up the table. Thoughts raced through my mind about Mr Craske and what he wanted with my girlfriend. He had a reputation I had heard about before and I don’t like the thought of him talking to my Jade. It just creeped me out. 

“What time is Jade going to be here love?” my mum asked from the opposite side of the kitchen counter. 

“She should be here any minute” I say smiling at her. She nods her head before preparing a little more food.

“Mum, can we not make my girlfriend fat” I ask sarcastically. She chuckles lightly. 

“She’s gonna love my cooking, it will have her begging for more” she said tasting the gravy she just made. 

“I already did that” I muttered under my breath.

“What was that?” mum asked leaning on the counter. 

“I didn’t say anything” I say trying to shake it off. 

“Yes you did, you muttered something under your breath” she said smirking. She knew exactly what I said. 

“I-“ I was quickly cut short from the knocking coming from my front door. 

“I bet thats Jade” I say giving my mum a sweet innocent smile. She rolled her eyes and continued on getting things ready. I skipped my way over to the door with a smile from ear to ear. My fingers wrapped around the door handle as I flung open the door. 

“Oh, hey Jesy” I say a bit dull. 

“Nice way to greet your best friend Edwards” she said sarcastically rolling her eyes. I just giggled. 

“And what do I owe the pleasure of having you at my front door?” I asked in a sophisticated voice. She giggled before pulling me fully outside. I leant back and shut the door before I turned back to my best friend. 

“How’s Ms Thirlwall” she said wriggling her eye brows. 

“Jesy I told you on the phone” I say giggling. 

“Yeah but details are better in person” she said smiling.

“I am not going to describe what I did in detail Jesy” I say crossing my arms over my chest. 

“YOU HAD DESK SE-“ she started to yell but I soon smacked my hand over her mouth. 

“Shut up” I say through gritted teeth. She started giggling and wrapped her arms around my waist. My feet left the floor as I was being swung around in Jesy’s arms.
