Chapter 37

Jade’s POV:

Oh school…. How I haven’t missed this. I know it was my job but sometimes I just don’t want to go. I just want to stay in Perries arms and spend the day with her. While walking down the hallway I could hear conversation about Sam going around. Eyes scanning me up and down, making me feel like I was back in high school. I shouldn’t be like this, I am a teacher and I should not feel intimidated by high school kids. 

I had about 30 minutes before class started and I had to be there. While walking past the music room I heard a piano playing. The song sounded beautiful that I had to stop and listen. I softly pushed the door open, making sure it didn't make a noise and disrupt the beautiful song. The schools piano was set up on the side of the stage. I walked down the rows towards the person behind the amazing song. 

There was a single spot light shining down the silhouette making her look like an absolute goddess. That’s when I realised it was my girlfriend. Her blonde hair cascading down her back as she sat up straight. I was close enough to see her face, her gaze at the piano but her eyes were closed. Her porcelain fingers dancing across the keys as the melody flowed from the piano. I was absolutely mesmerised by the beauty in front of me, stunning, breath taking, angelic. That’s the words that flowed to my mind within that moment. Her mouth opened and I stood there stunned by her voice. Time slowed down and all that I saw my angelic girlfriend. 

“Shut the door, Turn the light off, 

I wanna be with you, I wanna feel your love,

I wanna lay beside you, I cannot hide this,

Even though I try”

Her voice seemed to echo throughout the room, hitting all the notes perfectly. 

“Heart beats harder, Time escapes me,

Trembling hands, Touch skin,

It makes this harder, And the tears stream down my face” 

I had to sit down. My knees were getting weak with every note she sang. 

“If we could only have this life for one more day,

If we could only turn back time”

I took out my phone to record her, I had to remember this moment forever. 

“You know I’ll be, Your life, Your voice,

Your reason to be, My love, My heart,

Is breathing for this, Moment, In time,

I’ll find the words to say, Before you leave me today”

I could see the tiny beads of tears starting to roll down her cheeks from the lyrics she was singing. The song probably held a lot of meaning behind the words.  

“Close the door, Throw the key,

Don’t wanna be reminded, Don’t wanna be seen,
