Chapter 12 : Don't say no

P.s I'm not saying that you should  listen to song above but that is exactly what i'm saying, it sounds so good

After breakfast , Dylan and I went back to my room to study.

" Your grandma is really nice and welcoming. Reminds me of my own one. She stays in florida"

"Thank you. So let's start where we left off yesterday."

"Okay . By the way , who was that other guy? Is he your cousin?"

I felt a shudder ran down my spine. If Mike was my cousin , I think I will start cussing in every language that I know. And I know four languages.

" No. He's a family friend. He is just here until his college starts."

"Oh, just between you and me, I kinda don't like that guy."

I let out a laugh. The way he say it was so cute.

"Well just between you and me , I don't like him either."

After that, we began studying

*time skip cause author nim is doing this in class. Praying the teacher won't catch me*

After some time  , it became 1pm and as usual, I was hungry. 

"You wanna eat lunch here? I think my grandma would have finish cooking"

"Nah its cool. My mum already told me to come back and eat lunch so yeah."

"Oh okay then."

"Uhm..I wanted to ask you something."

"Are you free tonight?"

I just stared back at him. Did I heard him right?

"I'm sorry. Can you please repeat?"

"I asked you if you are free tonight?"

"Why? Out of sudden?"

"Well ,  Chad is having a mini party tonight. Yuni will be there. So I thought you may want to come along. It would be nice if you could come along."

"I don't know . I don't do those kind of stuff."

"Oh come on, It will be fun. Tell you what , you come , stay for 15 minutes and it you don't like it , we can leave. Deal?"

"Wait 'we'?"

"Uh yeah, I was hoping I could pick you up and go together. If you want to come."

I seriously tired my best not to laugh. He was saying so cutely it was hard to resist.

"Okay pretty boy. For your sake I'll come."

"Yay thanks ms hood"

"Does everyone at the school call that"

"I think so. But who cares? It makes you sound cool"

"How is that cool?"

"Imagine it. You sound like someone kind of cool anime hero"

"Um...sure...I guess"

"I don't know man. But trust me it is. So I will see you tonight?"

"Sure"

"Great! See you then ..bye!"

And with that he left
