It was a dark and gloomy night in the small town of Clutchenburgh. Everyone was tucked away in their houses, asleep. That is, except for little Gracie. Ever since age five, the darkness stole her intrest. She sat by the window, looking out only to find the moon and the street lights flickering. She let out a long sigh, and crawled back into her bed which was within her tiny room. Her parents slept peacefully two stories down. If there was one thing Gracie couldn't do, it was going to sleep. She loved the silence that crept around midnight to one. A light flashed from her window, and she jerked her head up and looked outside. Even though, this time, she saw much more than street lights and the moon. Something very odd.
