(FLUFF)
Yo okay here's another random idea i got during Art Club today and i thought it was cute idk
(bluehaired!Josh and shy!Tyler)
Ø
Those lips.
Those fucking lips.
They were chapped, and a pretty rosace shade. Rose bitten and melting into pale skin, Joshua was captivated.
The brunet sets his file down on the table, nimble fingers gripping the leather cover of his sketchbook as he sits down ever-so-carefully, arms still hugged to his chest.
He always seemed like he was trying to occupy as little space as possible.
Tyler inhales deeply, doe eyes demure and shy, as he flips open the thick book, relishing in the gentle, comforting smells clouding his senses.
The art room always smelt of rich paper and paint and canvas, and nothing could soothe Tyler than a combination of that.
The girl sitting opposite him gives him a little smile, adjusting the black-rimmed glasses on her nose. The brunet's plump lips tug into a small curve, the softest of dimples barely visible in his freckled cheeks.
That goddamn smile.
His skin was a pale peachy tone, milky and glowing under the fluorescent lights. Josh watches as he picks up a pencil with a dainty movement, starting to doodle in his sketchbook.
The brunet's hands worked magic in etching out the loveliest of sketches on the paper. The sensation of soft lead on the surface was like home to him, as he buries his head into his arms, doe eyes flickering over his sketchbook.
Josh had seen his art before, he'd just so happened to walk past the other day, only to be absolutely captivated by whatever he was drawing. It was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen--a mere scribbing of small scratches on the paper, but it was raw and delicate and awestrucking.
The blue-haired boy wasn't the least bit surprised, because--
A beautiful person created beautiful things.
Tyler perks his head up, hearing another group of loud college freshmen in the back of the room. He bites back a sigh, casting his muddy brown eyes downward again.
He wishes he had social skills, and he wishes he wasn't so anxious and awkward and annoying. He'd probably be stuck with no friends for the rest of the--
"Hi." a gentle voice tugs him back to reality, and Tyler looks up again to see a blue-haired boy with the prettiest of smiles and the most calming of voices.
The taller boy pauses.
"Your drawings are really good." he adds, almost shyly, because Joshua was truly a nervous mess on the inside.
"T-thank you." the brunet squeaks, doe eyes wide and peaking up at him. He uncrosses his legs under the table, toes curling and uncurling, mind a complete blank. He hurriedly shuffles his sketchbook closed, only to be cut off by another soft chuckle.
The way the blue hue's eyes crinkle at their corners seems to loosen Tyler up a little.
"Can I see?" Josh asks, running a hand through his silvering curls, a bashful smile on his cheeks. "I--I mean-if you want to-"
"Y-yeah." Tyler croaks, biting down on his plump lips and ever-so-gingerly handing his book to the taller boy. Josh found the need to be extra careful, too, because he was touching something that belonged to the seraphic beauty himself.
He hums in the back of his throat, flipping through the rich pages, stopping at a particular one.
Tyler had forgotten about that one.
The brunet flushes scarlet, throat seeming to go dry as Josh looks up, cheeks dusted a light pink.
"Is this me?"
On the paper was a portrait of a pretty blue-curled boy with rosy flower lips and squinty brown eyes.
"Y--y-yeah." Tyler stutters, feeling something growing in the pit of his tummy. His face was warm, the tips of his ears tinted red, and it was the most adorable thing Joshua had ever seen.
"It's amazing." the taller boy breathes, soft finger pads running across the page. Tyler ducks his head, hiding his shy smile.
"W-well y--you are the model." he squeaks, heart pitter-pattering in his chest.
Josh finds himself blushing again, his mind a complete and utter mess.
He doesn't reply, only gingerly setting the book back down on the table, warm brown eyes connecting with Tyler's."What's your name, lovely?" Josh murmurs, eyelashes fluttering delicately against his cheekbones.
Tyler only seems to become more bashful by the minute.
"T-T--Tyler." he stammers, little hands folded into his tummy, hugging around his waist. The corner of Josh's lips lift into a smile, that seems to send warm sparks into the brunet's chest.
"A pretty name for a pretty person." he muses, tilting his head and causing blue locks to feather out over his dazzling eyes.
Need I even mention how messy Tyler's mind is at the moment?
"I'm Joshua. Everyone calls me Josh." he continues gently, and the smaller boy can only smile up at him. His delicate dimples are much more visible now, etched into his pretty cheeks, and Josh is infatuated.
"J-Josh." Tyler repeats, the littlest of giggles tumbling through his plump lips, and oh, oh gosh, you have no idea how happy that makes the taller boy.
Just at that moment, Mrs Williams walks in, everyone immediately scurrying to their seats and quietening down. Josh steals one more glance from the bundle of beautiful, before he's grinning again, straightening up.
"See you around, Tyler."
And then he's walking away, this time, Tyler's doe eyes strained on his sculpted back, swallowing in his throat.
Oh, he'd definitely see him around.
