,,,for whoever who hasn't heard, Melanie Martinez has been accused of raping her ex-roommate and still, presently, best friend.
The 'apology' she posted was just -- bullshit. (if you haven't seen it, it should be somewhere on twitter, or you can google it)
Just because someone didn't specifically say 'no', doesn't equals consent. Timothy (melanie's best friend) has made it very clear that she didn't want it, didn't consent, but didn't do anything to stop it because Melanie was -- and still is, her best friend.
So yes, I will be removing Melanie from the fics that she appears in, or swapping them out with other characters. This is safe space, and I am not going to have a rapist appear in my stories.
