Chapter 6: The Journey Begins

It was early morning, I decided to pack our stuff early. I packed Annabeth's back first. I packed her seven pairs of pants, three pairs of my longjohns, seven shirts, serven underwears, and eight pairs of socks. I did the same to my suitecase. I put out two coats for me and Annabeth. I looked at the clock it was 5:30 in the morning, and our plane didn't come until noon. So i decided to go back to bed. I wrapped my arms around Annabeth's waist and kissed her. The I fell to sleep.

     I woke up with two grey eyes staring at me. It was only seven in the morning, so i got out of the bed with the towel around my waist, and started to run my bath water. The water was steaming hot, but being the son of the sea god the hot water won't hurt me. I dropped the towel and got in the water. I plugned my head under the water, when I seen blond hair go under the water and kissed me. I pushed both of our bodies up to the surface.

"What are you doing wise girl." I said

"Oh, nothing." She lied.

"Come on, I know you're lieing to me." I said.

"Fine, I am just worried." She confessed

"Everything will be fine, I promise." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"Now, kiss me." I said.

When she was about to kiss me, I heard my mom say,

"What are you guys doing."

"We were just getting out, mom so leave." I said

"Fine just hurry up, because breakfast is ready." My mom said.

"Your mom know who to ruin an moment." Annabeth said.

"I know, lets get dress now." I said

"Ok." She replied.

It took us about 10 mintues to find our cloths, and to head downstairs to the kitchen. Me and Annabeth ate by ourselfs, because my mom and Paul already finished eating. Me and Annabeth at like royals. When our bellies were filled, we went and watched tv. We watched half of the movie "Dad Grandpa" before we fell to sleep.

"Guys wake up!!!" I heard someone yelled.

"W-what time is it?" I questioned.

"It's eleven, and the plane leaves in one hour." My mom said.

"Anna wake up its time to go so wake up!" I yelled.

"WHAT TIME IS IT!" She yelled.

"Its time to go, lets get to the car." 

My mom and Paul drove me and Annabeth to the airport. While they were driving Annabeth snuggled her head on my lap and fell to sleep. After a few mintues I also fell to sleep. I woke with the car stopping.

"Were here." I heard Paul said.

Me and Paul grabbed the suit cases, and we all ran into the airplane towards gate 47 to Greenland. When we reached to flight attendant my mom and Paul gave me and Annabeth a hug and said,

"We love you both and stay safe." Mom and Paul said at the sametime, and they gave us a kiss and a huge hug. 

"We love you guys too." I said. With that said me and Annabeth boreded the plane and found our seats.

"Are you ready for the long trip." I asked Annabeth.

"Yes, I am babe." She replied.

"Ok." I said. Then we kissed and we heard the flight attendant say,

"Ladies and gentlemen please turn off all electronics and buckle up until we are fling safely. Thank you." 

"Annabeth, I am scared because we are going into Zeus's territory." I said

"Yeah, me too." She said.

About forty mintues after the plane took off me and Annabeth fell to sleep. I woke to the sound of thunder and lightning in the distance.

"Excuse me, where are we." I asked the flight attendant.

"We are over the Gulf of St Lawrence." She replied.

"Ok." I said. And I went back to sleep.

Annabeth woke me up and said,

"Listen to the flight attendant."

"Ladies and Gentlemen the captain said we should be landing in 10 mintues so buckle up and take your seats. Thank you."

 When we landed in the airort in Greenland me and Annabeth went to the restrooms to put on our two coats each and two pairs of longjohns(leggings). We stepped out the airport and hailed a cab.

"Were are you going miss." The cab driver said.

"The highest mountain in Greenland." Annabeth said.

"Ok." The driver said.

It took about two hours untile the mountain was in sight. It was ten below zero. I paid the cab driver the money and started up the mountain. It was very quiet untile we were seventy-five percent up the mountain when we heard the beasts. We hurried the rest of the way up, and we reached the top the sight was horrible.
