Chapter 10: The Flashback

Leo

"So do you guys remember when Khione blasted me into the sky." Leo said.

"Yeah." Everyone said except Percy and Annabeth.

"Well... Here is the story." Leo said.

I was flying through the sky, plummeting to my death. Then I remembered i had my sphere with me, so I started to play with it. I was about three hundred feet from the ground when I made a home-made helicopter. Now I was about one hundred and ten feet from the ground when it sarted to work. I was losing control of it when I spoted an Island. It was Ogygia. I was dropping very fast when I smashed into Calypso's dining table, but at the time I thought it was nothing. But I heard someone yell something at me. I turned around and noticed a beautiful girl with almond eyes, a tan body, and cimmon color hair.

"Hey! you blew up my dining table." Said the beautiful girl.

"Oh, sorry I just fell from the sky." I said

"REALLY?" she screamed at the sky. " You want to make my curse even worse? Zeus! Hephaestus! Hermes! Have you no shame?"

She was storming her way up to her garden and I followed.

"Why are you crying?" I asked

"None of your business." She said "Just go somewhere else on the island."

So I walked to the shore and started to chop trees. I started to build mt hut, when I turned around I saw a plate of food. It had apples, a sandwhich, and a glass of cider. After I ate my food, I went back to working. I pulled a hammer, nail, and a screwdriver out of my tool belt.

I finished building my hut, I went to the shore and went swimming. When I came out of the water I had more food, a drink, and a new pair of clothing. I went back to my hut and went straight to bed.

I woke up in the morning, the sun shining in my eyes. I got dressed and went outside my hut to find more food and more cider. After I ate, I existed my hut to see the girl with Almond eyes walking to the shore.

"Hey!" I said "You didn't tell me your name."

"Oh, my name is Calypso." She said.

"That a pretty name." I said.

"Thanks." She said blushing.

"Sooo, do you need any help in your garden." I asked her.

"Well.... since your stuck here, I can use your help." She said.

"Ok." I said walking with her to her cave.

When I entered the cave it was wounderful. She had snow white curtains, the chores where doing themselves. It was like the invisable wind spirits back at Camp Jupiter. She had me plant stuff in her garden then i went to my liitle mud-brick hut. I ate my lunch and went into the woods. I loved the woods and this island, because it didn't have a view of the ocean. I was looking around and found Celestial Bronze. It wasn't as much as it was back at Camp Half Blood, or on the Argo II, but it was enough. The smallest piece was the size of a cup coster and the biggest was the size of a shield. When I arrived at my hut, I pulled out, about 30 nails to make an anvil. I started to smash my hammer on the bronze when Calypso came up to me and said,

"Thanks for fixing my fountain, and my tools, and my curtain at the cave's enterence."

"No problem, those were easy to fix." I said.

"So.... what are you trying to make." She asked.

"I'm trying to make a boat to get off this Island." I said.
