My eyes cracked open slowly heavy with tears. They were either from crying in my sleep, or from just having my eyes closed. That happened a lot.
I moved my legs and arms in unison, my skin feeling every edge of crisp white sheets. It was the best feeling in the world.
I sat up suddenly looking around. I wasn't in my hotel or my room for sure. The room I was in was literally the definition of white out. Everything in sight was white.
White sheets, white bed, white pillows, and even white people. I almost jumped out of the bed I was in when I saw a body laying next to me, back to me.
All I could see was a huge ass tattoo on this guys back, signaling that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Which could mean he wasn't wearing anything.
Did I have a one night stand? I don't remember that. I remember Emma leaving with Dylan.... JOREL. That makes a lot of sense.
I checked underneath the white covers to make sure I actually had clothes on. I had plenty of clothes on.
My legs were heavy like lead when I swung them over the side of the bed. That's when it hit me.
I was at Jorels hotel. With Jorels band. Of guys.
I rubbed my eyes, opening the white door quietly so I didn't wake Jorel up. That's the first thing I need in the morning.
My bare feet padded across the cold floor, sending shivers up my spine. Commotion was coming from the kitchen so I averted my path and walked into the living room where Dylan was sitting on the floor watching teenage mutant ninja turtles on nickelodeon.
Ralph growled at mikey (yes I watch cartoons) like he always did and made a motion to strangle him. Dylan laughed shoving food into his mouth. I plopped into the couch behind him.
"Hey. Dylan."
I waited till he looked at me and used my hands to ask him to scoot over so I could see the tv.
"If you wanna watch you can move until you can see."
Okay......
I stood and plopped next to him into the floor.
"Which one is it?" I asked referring to the show.
"Ralph doesn't believe mikey about his pizza coming alive and trying to eat em'." He commented his eyes never leaving the tv.
"Oh. I've seen this one. Be right back."
I stood up and headed to the kitchen. "Hey dill? Do you got any cereal?!" I yelled from the kitchen staring at all of the cabinets in front of me. Anything could be in there.
Plus it's rude to just go through people's stuff.
"Yeah: Third cabinet On the left. There's some in the right one too."
"Cool."
I opened the cabinet and gazed at the choices.
Coco puffs, Frosted Flakes, cookie bites, Honey Nut Cheerios, and some weird kind that didn't have a name.
"Hey! Don't eat the cookie bites! Matt will literally go apeshit."
"Thanks but i was just gonna eat the coco puffs."
Dylan didn't reply, my guess it's watching his cartoons. I poured some of the cereal into a bowl that I'd found on the counter, then looked into the fridge for some milk. I ignored the random stuff shoved into the fridge and grabbed the milk to pour it into my cereal. I turned already unscrewing the lid when I almost collided into a person.
If I hadn't looked up when I did I would've collided with Danny and spilt milk all over the tiny kitchen.
"Oh. Danny, hi." I smiled, pushing the fridge closed with my foot.
"Hi..." He mumbled, reaching into the freezer. He pulled out a box of Oreos and a bottle of tequila.
"You okay there?" I poured some milk into my bowl keeping my eye on him. When he didn't answer I smiled to myself. "Ya know, I've heard Oreos and tequila don't work."
He cocked his head to me, a curious look in his eyes.
"Ya know," I grabbed a spoon, a devilish smile on my face."for heartbreak. It's the magic in chocolate ice cream."
I started to the living room Hoping that the curiosity in Danny's eyes would lure him to follow me. I heard foot steps behind me.
"How much ice cream?" He mumbled quietly but loud enough for me and only me to hear him.
I took a bite of my cereal slowly turning to him. "Two pints and lots of movies. Let's get this party started!"
