Double Date with the Seven Deadly Sins Part 7

Later that night, Ban got ready for his date. Since he knew that Jericho wasn't planning on dressing for the occasion, he also decided not to. He smiled at his reflection in the bathroom mirror and admired his sharp incisors. He also took one last look at his abs before buttoning up his familiar red leather jacket. He gave himself a quick shave using Jericho's knife, which he had "borrowed" from her earlier. He felt his smooth face and grinned. He sat down and put on his matching red boots. He stood back up and placed his hands in his pockets.

"I'm ready." he thought to himself.

Jericho sat in her dark room and lit a few candles. She much preferred her solitude, and her dark room provided the quietness that she craved. She crouched on the ground and gave her armor a thorough polishing, until she could see her own reflection in it. She strapped on her armor, and stood up with a loud clank. She walked over to her small mirror, and grabbed a small piece of black cloth that she kept her hair back with. She pulled up her lavender hair and twisted the piece the cloth.  She put on a bit of eye makeup. She hadn't been sleeping well, and she didn't want her purple circles to show. She put on her iron gloves, and pounded her fist into her chest. 

"I'm ready." she thought confidently. She blew out the candles, and the room went dark.

King nervously began combing his hair. He really wanted to impress Diane tonight as much as possible. He took off his casual-wear clothes, and set them aside on the chair next to him. He buttoned up his white-collared dress shirt and put on his bow tie. He put on black suit pants, and polished black oxford shoes. He put golden cufflinks on his sleeves and straightened his bow tie again. He decided to leave Chastiefol behind tonight. He knew that he wasn't going to be sleeping any time soon. He let out an anxious sigh and buttoned up his black suit jacket on top of his dress shirt. He folded a white napkin into his jacket pocket, and clipped a red rose on his lapel. He gave himself a thumbs up. 

"I'm ready Diane." he said to himself.

Diane quickly took one of the purple pills that Merlin gave her and put on a beautiful pink dress that she had borrowed from Elizabeth. She gave herself a twirl in front of the mirror. She sat down and put on black eyeliner, and a couple puffs of white powder on her nose and cheeks. She put on pink lipstick and brushed her hair into an awaiting hair clip. She considered trying out high heels, but then decided that King was already shorter than her. She instead put on pink open-toed sandals. She put red nail polish on her long fingernails. She rose back up from her chair and admired herself in the mirror. She nodded.

"I'm ready for my first date." she thought to herself excitedly.
