Unexpected (Harry Potter fan fic)

Prologue

*AUTHORS NOTE: warning: I was twelve when I wrote this. The grammar is off, the story moves WAY too fast and I typed it on a phone so there was a lot if mistakes. Please do not complain, as I said I was very young and I was just kind of writing stupidly. If you want some good books, check out my latest works :)

*Scorpia's P.O.V*

McGonagall started calling out the students names. "Abbott, Hannah" McGonagall called out.

After a few minutes the hat called out "HUFFLEPUFF!" Bit by bit McGonagall called out. The Hufflepuff table clapped as she walked over.

"Lovegood, Chloe". My friend Chloe got up and put the hat on her head.

I took less than a second to answer with a booming "GRYFFINDOR!" I couldn't help but be disappointed. I just hoped I would be placed in Gryffindor with my friend. But no one in my family has been in Gryffindor and I've been told I'm cunning and sly, like a Slytherin. I'm not very brave or trustworthy, I can't keep a secret if it can hurt someone. Maybe I'll get lucky and Rebekah will get put in Slytherin. The Gryffindor table capped as she joined them.

"Snape, Rebekah" McGonagall called out. There was a series of gasps when people heard her last name. I just rolled my eyes. I'd met Snape before and he wasn't that bad.

When she sat down on the stool it looked like her and the hat were arguing. I knew she wanted to be in Gryffindor not because of dark wizards being in Slytherin but because she wants to be different from her family. She won't admit it but she has an interest in the dark arts, I saw the books in her trunk and how she looked at the trunk every few seconds. Chloe seemed quite interested too and didn't bother to hide it when she saw one of my dark art book.

After a few more minutes of them arguing, the hat finally called out "GRYFFINDOR!" My heart sank even more. Once again the Gryffindor table clapped as she joined them.

McGonagall called out "Malfoy, Draco" and my twin went to sit down with his famous Malfoy smirk on his face knowing exactly which house he'd be in.

Just as the hat touched his head it called out "SLYTHERIN!" Typical. My brother is evil and knows it. I may have liked Slytherin at the moment if the only two friends I had met on the train weren't in Gryffindor. The Slytherin table clapped as he walked over to them.

Then McGonagall called "Malfoy, Scorpia". I walked up to the stool and sat down while the hat was placed on my head.

WelllookhereanotherMalfoy, the hat spoke inside my head. YouseemcunningandslylikeaSlytherin.

PleaseputmeinGryffindorwithmyfriends, I thought.

Hmmmm... Idon'tknowifGryffindorisforyou. Ithinkyoubelongin... "SLYTHERIN!" It shouted. The Slytherin table clapped loudly as I walked over to the Slytherin table. I couldn't help but feel my heart sink even deeper.

I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Scorpia Malfoy, yes twin sister of Draco Malfoy. I met two friends, Rebekah Snape, yes again not daughter but sister of Severus Snape, and Chloe Lovegood, older sister of Luna Lovegood.

I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Rebekah has black hair and dark brown eyes that are so dark there almost black. Then Chloe has brown hair and green eyes.

As you may have noticed I'm a Slytherin which wouldn't be so bad if I was in it with Rebekah and Chloe but they'll be my friends even if our our houses are enemy's, I will not leave my only real friends. They don't care that I'm Slytherin in fact the only people that care is my brother, Potter and all their followers. So I'll guide you through my fifth, sixth and seventh year at Hogwarts.
