(Bio) Born Jonathan James Thompson, Jonathan is known as a pure-blood Elemental.  His powers connect with the element water. 

Both parents are known Elementals as well.  Father carries the power of the wind and Mother carries the power of the Earth. 

His life since he began elementary school was filled of nothing but dread from the local bullies of his town, Beacon Hills. 

At the age of 13, an incident took place at the public pool.  The Beacon Hills Swim Team took over the pool for practices while John was occupying it for a few hours.  A teenager name Lahey and his friends decided to mess around with John and throw him into the pool several times and pull him down.  Unaware of his powers at that age, John didn't know what he was doing and his emotions took over.  His fear awakened the powers within him and caused the pool to turn into a giant tidal wave.  Several students were injured and Lahey nearly died. 

After that day, John was obsessed with finding the answer to his powers.  But, before he could find the answers, Lahey informed the police what happened, and had John sent to Eichen House. 

At the age of 16, John was finally released after a long, long court battle made by his father, and just in time before Valack could get his hands on him to study his ability.  That was also the day when he finally connected truly with his parents after they have told him everything he needed to know about his powers, where he came from. 

At the age of 18, James and Harriet died in a fatal car accident, leaving John in the care of his Grandparents.

John rebelled against everyone ever since his parents were killed.  He hated the world, everyone in it for taking his parents away from him just when he was starting to form a strong bond between them.  Lorraine Martin was the only one who could get through him.  She told him about what happened to her wife and how she tried to find answers in the supernatural world.  She helped him get back on to track with his school work and gain a scholarship to get into college.  After Christmas Vacation, he met Sarah, who was a junior at the time.  Throughout the rest of the semester, Sarah and John became best friends and soon, begin dating.  But, after school was over, they had to part their ways because John had to leave for college.  But, they never lost touch with each other. 

John earned his degree in Environmental Fire and Science and scored a job at the local fire station in Beacon Hills. 

At his graduation, John was a little bummed he didn't have anyone to cheer for him at the ceremony, but when his name was called, he was surprised to hear someone cheer.  Just one.  He saw Sarah standing on her seat, cheering like a wild woman.  Just for him. 

After the ceremony, he took her out to dinner and he knew right there that she was the one just for him.

Josie was conceived on November 2, 1996.  Both John and Sarah were scared to death because they felt they weren't ready for a child.  But, after a long talk, they begin to believed that they could be the best parents to their child.  So, that day, he asked for Sarah's hand in marriage.  January 21, 1997, John and Sarah recited their vows and were joined in holy matrimony. 

When John was 19, he begin to con people out of their money so he could reach payments since Fire fighters didn't make enough back then.  Human and Supernatural.  He would pull odd jobs to steal from people's homes, sell items on black market, anything to make a buck to pay off loans.  Some nights, he would attend to fight clubs.  Once Sarah became pregnant, he made a vow that he would change his ways and go straight for them. 

A year after Josie was born, John was leaving work and attended with his co-workers at a bar.  That's where he met Corrine, the Desert Wolf.  For almost a year, she stalked him, seduced him.  When she found out about Sarah and Josie, she confronted him at his job and killed a co-worker in the process.  Using his powers, he protected his friends and boss. After beating her, she rejected him as her mate.  His boss, who was also a werewolf, told him about the consequences of being rejected. 

He tried to keep it a secret from Sarah, but when Corrine found him again and harassed him and Sarah, he had no choice but to tell her everything...and pretty much, the rest is history.
