As Gerard's hunters drew first blood, no one knew what was going on around the world. What the other werewolves and shifters were going through. Like what's going on for Ethan after he lost his brother Aiden in the battle between the oni. After Ethan left Beacon Hills, he mostly traveled around the world. But, after meeting someone like him, his mate, he decides to settle down with his love in London, England for almost a year and a half. When Ethan met his mate, everything seemed so much more clear for him in his life. It just became so much better. His mate gave him so much love and support, especially with his brother's death. He owes everything to his mate.
Ethan sighs softly as he looks out the window of his shared apartment, hearing Big Ben toll throughout the rainy night. Tonight had to be perfect for Ethan. It was his anniversary with his mate and he has worked so hard to make this night go smoothly. But, right now...
Ethan dials his mate's number once more, but again, he hears the voicemail.
"Hello, please leave your name and phone number after the beep." Beep!
Ethan looks up in frustration at the Waxing Gibbon moon as it shines through the clouds.
"Me again. You promised you wouldn't be late. You know how long I've been trying to get tickets to the show? Exactly as long as we've been together. Because I'm that guy." Ethan fixes his silver cuff-links with a wolf branded on them. "So, please don't be the guy who shows up late to your anniversary, okay? Just get here before the car arrives." He says as he ends the call.
Time flies by, and his mate wasn't here still, so he calls again. And still welcomed by the voice mail.
"Me again. The car's here. But you're not. You know what happens if we're late? They close the doors. Please, get here." Ethan begs.
More time flies, and Ethan's mate was on thin ice right now. He was worried, but pissed that his mate forgot their anniversary. He calls again, and surprise, surprise. The stupid voicemail. Ethan swears in his mind that if that voicemail had a face, he would punch it.
"They closed the doors. We're 10 minutes late and they close the doors after 10 minutes. Which means we're not gonna see the show. It also means, you forgot our anniversary. Which also means, I'm gonna kill you." He says with dry humor and slams his finger on the end button.
Suddenly, the door burst open and a tied up figure is thrown into the apartment. Ethan turns fast and sees it was his mate tied up and two figures rush into the room. But, when Ethan runs to attack, the female hunter cocks her gun, and shoot a wolfsbane dart right into Ethan's chest.
Ethan feels the wolfsbane taking over his body, he breaks into fits of cough and slowly falls to the floor as weakness takes over. The female marches over to him and knees him right in the face, making him fall backwards with a pained grunt. Ethan groans as he feels a hand fist in hair and yanks him to look at the female hunter.
She smirks at him, "Hmm. Now he's just as cute as the other one." Then she slams his head into the piano keys.
"You know we're supposed to ask them questions before we kill them?" The male hunter reminds her.
She sneers at her partner, "Is that from him or from you?"
"You know who it's from." The male states.
The woman turns back to Ethan as he sits up, breathing heavily from the poison rushing in his body. The woman kneels and eyes Ethan.
"So, we hear you and your boyfriend have been tracking other werewolves. We'd like to know their names."
