Malia, Lydia, Camdyn, Josie, and Scott all waited in the bunker for Chris to arrive.  And when he did, the look in their eyes told him all he needed to know.

"Who did you lose?"  He asks, Scott.

Scott moves to the table with Josie by his side and together, they lay out the lacrosse equipment they found coated with Brett's blood, the spike that hit Scott in the sewers.  Everything they found that led them to the knowledge of Gerard teaching the new hunter.

"Brett and Lori.  Two born werewolves in Satomi's pack." Josie says with a hard glare as she grips on the bloody, broken lacrosse stick.

"Murdered.  Killed by the new hunter in Beacon Hills." Scott says as he reaches to gently force Josie to let go of the stick.  Seeing that she left dents in the metal.

Josie sighs and crosses her arms over her chest after she lets go and watches Scott take charge.

He turns and faces Chris with a theory popping in his head, "You know, when he took out the Hellhound, we thought that it was luck.  That we were dealing with an amateur.  But now we know that whoever this new hunter is, he has a teacher."

Seeing the familiar strategies laid out in front of him, Chris didn't even have to ask as he stood before them all with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Gerard."  He sighs softly in realization.  "Which means this is my fault.  I'm the one who let him go."

Lydia shakes her head, "You couldn't have done anything." She assures him.

"He could've killed him." Malia says bluntly.

Everyone looks at her in disbelief, but Malia simply shrugs.  But, Chris nods, agreeing that he could have.

"Just saying." Malia shrugs casually.

"Actually, if this Gerard guy was as crazy everyone says, why didn't you kill him?" Camdyn asks and shrugs in curiosity.

Malia points out in triumph that someone actually was thinking the same thing.  She was happy that he was on her side.

"We're not executioners." Lydia points out.

"You are when it comes to war."  Malia points out also.

"That's why we're gonna make peace." Scott speaks up.

Lydia scoffs, "With Gerard?"

Josie had to agree with her, "Scott, he's never going to agree to peace."

"Josie, Lydia, you know what's coming.  We all keep using the same word." Scott states.

"War."  Chris speaks up.

Malia sighs in frustration, "So what stops a war from happening?"

"Peace summit." Josie says.

Scott nods, "Right.  We meet face-to-face with Gerard.  Find out what he wants and then we stop all this before it gets any worse."

Lydia shakes her head then looks directly at Scott with a serious look, "Last time Gerard was at a peace meet was with Deucalion.  He blinded him and then killed everybody else, including his own men."

Josie swallows hard, she remembers Deucalion's tale.  He sat down with her and told her about his life.  Good and bad.  Especially when he was leading the Alpha's.  He tried to kill Scott, but when Scott spared him and even healed his sight, he switched sides.

Chris moves to stand closer to Scott and Josie, "I'll go.  Know he's not going to kill me."

Malia frowns, "You sure about that?" She asks, not really believing that Gerard would spare him, even if he was his son.
