16 Bombs and Goodbyes

Shanna Marix POV

I'm on a runway practice ng makaramdam ako ng hilo at pagsusuka. Agad akong nagtungo sa restroom para doon ilabas ang breakfast ko. Grabe, ano ba ito bakit hilong hilo ako. Naramdaman ko ang paghagod ni Venus sa likod ko. Isa sya sa mga kaibigan ko sa agency.

"May nakain ka bang masama? It's been three days na sinusuka mo ang breakfast mo ah, babe, maybe you should go to the hospital and get yourself check?" Anito sabay abot sa akin ng tissue

"Thanks" nanghihinang sabi ko. Ok naman ako pag dating ng hapon, pero sa umaga ang hirap kumilos, nahihilo at nagsusuka ako.

"Babe, you should also get a PT" may pang iingat ding bulong nito sa akin pero daig ko pa ang natulos sa kinatatayuan ko. Parang bombang sumabog sa akin ang sinabi nyang yun "PT?! Impit kong ulit doon. Naintindihan ko ang ibig nyang sabihin pero di matanggap ng isip ko yon.
Biglang nagbilang ako sa isip ko. Its been two months since that night Shark and I did it.

Agad din akong nagpunta sa hospital. Gusto ko deretsong malaman agad kung tama ba ang hinala ko. And the doctor confirm all of it.

I'm pregnant!

Pagkatapos akong resetahan ng doctor ng lahat ng vitamins ay sinabi din nya ang mga dapat gawin at mga bawal. Tulala ako habang pauwi ng bahay. Hindi ko maintindihan kung anong gagawin ko ngaun.

Should I tell him?
Should I tell my parents?
What should I do?!

At parang nanloloko pa ang pagkakataon dahil pagkababang pagkababa ko ng kotse ay nakita ko si Shark, prenteng nakasandal sa pinto ng bahay ko.

May radar ba ang lalaking ito?! Bilis makasagap e!

Derederetso ako sa pinto at habang kinukuha ang susi sa bag ko ay nagsalita ako pero di ko sya tinitignan

"What do you want?" Sabay bukas ko ng pinto. Bumuntong hininga muna ito bago sumagot.

"I'm leaving, Shanna" anito, pakiramdam ko nasa gyera na ako sa dami ng pasabog sa araw na ito. Wasak na wasak na ang puso ko.

"Dad offered me to take over the business in London and I took it, maybe it's for the best, you wont get to see me now, maybe you'll be over the roof, no one's going to ruin you and annoy the hell out of you." he said, his voice is laced with sarcasm, I gasp.
"and I might be staying there for good... I think I had enough rejection from you to last me a lifetime."  Mahinahong dagdag pa nito.

Namagitan ang katahimikan sa amin. Hindi ko maintindihan ang sarili ko pakiramdam ko may masakit sa dibdib ko, mas masakit pa ito kesa ng malaman kong ikakasal na si Alex, kakaibang kirot na unti unting bumabalot sa puso ko.

"I came to say my goodbye Shanna." Anito sa mahinang boses

"G-goodbye then!" I said as my voice cracked. Pakiramdam ko babagsak na ang luha sa mata ko kaya pumasok na ako ng bahay at agad sinarado iyon. At sa pinid na pinto ay hinayaan kong bumagsak ng bumagsak ang mga luha ko.

It's been a month since Shark said his goodbyes. I'm three months pregnant now. I heard a knock on my door.

"Hoy Shan! What the hell? Your not answering your phone! Your not replying to text! If I didnt ask Manang Didith if she still cooks and clean for you, I would have thought you already died in here, what's with the recluse? It doesnt suit you deary!"  Pagkabukas ko pa lang ay bunganga na ni Anna ang nabungadan ko. It's been a month since I last saw her, hindi na rin kasi ako naglalalabas. I dont want my child to smell the smoke of these puff addicts

"Hi to you too Anna" bati ko sa kanya sabay akap sa kanya. I missed her.

"Look at you! You look like a pauper! And my God, your so fat!" Anito sabay tingin pa sa katawan ko

Batukan ko kaya tong taklesang to! Kahit kelan talaga sarap sungalngalin nito e!

"Come inside Anna, I want to tell you something" nginitian ko na lang sya at hinatak sa loob.

I pulled her in the veranda of the house. I always stay here, i feel refresh everytime I spent time here and the fresh air is good for the baby. I pour her some orange juice as we sat in the bean bags I put there.

"How's the gang?" I asked excited to hear news

"Well, tams married off, kuya clark is busy now since he take over the business, Shantis' still a slut, not a shocker there, Mica's working now and I'm still single, by the way.." and she laugh and I join her.

"I heard Shark's away and Alex got back with his wife. How are you?"
Anito na nakatingin sa medyo malaki kong tyan.

"I'm pregnant Ann," nakita ko ang understanding sa mata nya. "Shark." She said, its more of a confirmation than a question and I nodded.

"Does he know?" She asked and I shake my head. "Why didnt you tell him?" She said as she reaches for my hand. I hold hers and try my hardest not to cry.

"I dont know why I didnt, maybe I'm just too afraid that he may not want the baby, I rejected him Anna over and over again, I saw how angry he was." Pinahid ko ang luhang tumakas sa mga mata. " Its my fault..."At tuluyan ng yumugyog ang mga balikat ko sa pag iyak. Ito na yata ang pinakamasakit. It surpasses everything.
"I dont know why I did it Anna and I blame myself over and over again and now, he's gone and he's not coming back, and its because I pushed him away! I cant forgive myself and my baby wont forgive me too and I'm falling apart Anna" i said while crying my heartaches.

"Hush now Shan, crying is not good for the baby...come on"  anito at hinatak ako patayo.

"Let's pig out. You know you are looking at the best cook in town. I'll make a hearty lunch for that little bun in your alcohol-free oven"  she said and she laugh a little.

"Baby, you know your mom is the craziest person, dont  hate her okay, because that craziness is in our blood.. it's in your blood too, weather you like it or not! Now, let me feed you and your mom! I'm sure you will go gaga over my cooking"She said while her head is in my tummy. I chuckled at her.

"Baby, I think your Tita-Ninang Anna is trying to poison you!"  I said as I hold my tummy and smirk at Anna, i saw how she fake a shock expression.

"Baby, your Tita-Ninang Anna is insulted. I'll show your mommy that Tita-Ninang Anna is the best cook and when everything goes south then we can use our fingers and dial delivery, right?."  Anito at nagtawanan na kami

Maghapon kaming nagkwentuhan at kumain ni Anna, we cooked, we watch movies and she join me too in taking naps.
