Raven POV Chapter 52

I woke up still wrapped up in Nicole's arms. I run my fingers over her skin. It's nice to feel in love again. I got up and jumped in the shower. When I got out she was still sleeping. I got dressed and left her note letting her know that I was headed to the trap house.

I walked in and everyone said hello to me, Tyler waved and went back to what he was doing, People don't understand how big of a role he actually plays in this.

-Flash Back-

Me and Cori found him one day after we made a drop. It was raining he was wearing a grey hoodie hidden under a bridge. I was trying to hurry up and leave but Cori saw him first. She walked over to him, I called for her to come back but she didn't even stop so I walked over behind her.

She asked him why he was out in the rain, at first he didn't want to answer. Cori told him to come with us so he can stay dry. We took him back to the trap house and Cori and I sat him in Cori's office.

After we gave him some food he finally opened up. told us he is a run away from an abusive house hold. He didn't want to go back. Cori asked how old he was and he told us 15. I remember the look we gave each other. We had no idea what to do. That night Cori took him home with her and I decided it would be safer if I stayed to.

We stayed up listening to him tell us his life story. He told us that he didn't want to go back and he would do anything to stay. Cori told him that he could stay if he went to school. Tyler didn't like that, talked about how it was too dangerous because his abusive parents could find him, They finally settled on homeschooling. it was important to Cori because of the fact that we just graduated high school ourselves.

A few weeks after taking him in he told Cori that he wanted to do what we do. He said he wanted to make money and be able to take care of himself. Cori told him no, but one night Tyler was in the car with Cori getting some food, A competitor of Cori's followed them and when Cori got out they jumped her. Tyler ran out and was helping her, he found someone's gun on the ground and he shot the guy that was still on Cori. Cori jumped up but Tyler back in the car, she sped of to the trap house and told me what happened.

Tyler begged to help us again and Cori said yes. She said anyone who saves her life deserves to do it. They became best friends since then, always having each others back. Tyler even finished high school and graduated college doing online courses.

I walked into Cori's office and still no show, She hasn't been here in forever. I know she has been through a lot but me and Tyler cant keep doing this by our selves.

I called her but she didn't answer. I walked back out and drove to her house, I walked in and went upstairs. Tyla and Tristan were playing and I said hi to them.

I asked where Momma was and they told me she left. I was starting to get frustrated with Cori, then I asked where Mommy was and they pointing to her room. I walked into her room and I didn't see her. I heard something from the bathroom and I got closer to the door, it was locked. It sounded like crying.

"London," I said.

"Go away," She said through tears, I pulled out a bobby pin and began picking at the lock on the door.

"Just talk to me London," I looked over at the nightstand and there was a note, I read a little bit and began picking the lock faster. it's a fucking suicide note. I got the door open and she has a gun to her head. "Fuck"

"Raven go away,"

"Stop right now. Your kids are in the other room, your two beautiful babies who need their mommy. You want this to be how they remember their mom, get your shit together right now," I slowly walked over to her.

"I have no idea what I'm doing. Cori hates me, and just when I get her to love me again something else happens. She's running around with this Nia girl and I'm still juggling my feelings for Steph and the babies are rapped up in all if this."

"That doesn't mean you need to do this London," I got a little bit closer and snatched the gun from her. She fell and I grabbed her she sat in my arms crying.

"St- steph asked m-me to mar-ry her" she said between crying.

I stayed and comforted her, I have no idea what to do. I know the worst thing to do is tell Cori because their will be more blood on her hands. she will literally slaughter Steph. I already had to talk her out of doing it when she first got back. I don't want the kids to be apart of this either.

I called Tyler and told him what happened. He came over and burned the suicide note and put the gun back where it belonged, turns out it's Cori's gun. I guess she figured it be a bad idea to use an FBI issued gun to kill herself.

Tyler made some food for all of us and the kids too. I handed London a glass of water and she drank it with her hands still a little shaky. Me, her, and Tyler sat and discussed what would be the best Idea on how to go about this.
