London POV Chapter 47

I woke up this morning with Ashley still by my side. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. I told Cori's mom I would get the kids around 12 and it's already 11. I got up and got in the shower. When I came out Ashley was sitting up on the bed. I walked into my closet and put on a set from Victoria Secret and some ripped booty shorts. I threw on a black Nirvana crop top and threw myself on the bed.
"You okay girl?"
"No, I'm still thinking about last night and now I have to go get the kids,"
"Why can't Steph go get them?" I gave her a sharp look.
"Cori's mom can't stand her and plus she's with her dad in Washington,"
"Damn for how long?"
"A week maybe, depends on how much time her big family wants to spend together," she got up and jumped in the shower, when she came out she put on jeans and a black bralette.  She's so lucky she has small boobs. I let Zeus out back so he can run around then we headed out. We got in my BMW and made our way to Cori's mom's house. I walked in and she was helping them get all there stuff together.
"I got it mom," i reached down and helped her get them dressed. When we finished I took them back into the car and Cori's mom stopped me to have a conversation. Ashley sat in the car while we stood in the door way.
"So how is everything now that Cori is back?"
"Uhm the kids love her so I guess everything is good,"
"No I know the kids love her, but how are you and Cori?"
"We haven't really talked much," I looked down thinking about last night again and the fact that she still isn't home. I drove home only to find Cori and some bitch on the couch talking and laughing it up. The kids ran over to her and jumped on her. She gave them a kiss and hugged them. Ashley walked in and looked at the girl then looked at me.
"Who the fuck is that?" She whispered to me.
"I don't know but I'm damn sure about to find out," I shut the door hard behind me. I walked down to where Cori was and she looked at me licking her lips. I knew I looked cute, good thing I did.
"Hey Cori," I gave a fake smile as Ashley walked behind me
"Hey," she looked me in my eyes and her facial expressions changed. It was like she didn't know how to feel about me.
"Hi, I'm London," I stuck my hand out to the girl on the couch.
"Nia," she shook my hand. Bitch.
"So you didn't come home last night,"
"Yeah, I stayed at Nia's" she looked over at her and Nia giggled a little. I clenched my fist behind my back.
"Well Hello everyone I'm Ashley. London's best friend," Ashley jumped in and it made me relax a little. They said hello to her and she sit right in between them.
"So what's the plans for today?"
"Plans?" Cori looked at her like she was crazy.
"Yeah, how about we go out, to the movies or something," Ashley continued to talk but I couldn't keep my eyes off of Cori, she did me so wrong last night and I know I didn't wait but I didn't deserve that.
"I can't have plans someone has to watch the kids," Cori said.
"Yeah and I was just heading home," Nia added.
"Oh really," Ashely is so reckless. Nia got up and Cori followed behind her to the door.
"Bye Cori,"
"Bye Nia," Nia kissed her on the cheek and said she would see her later. I couldn't take it anymore. When the door shut I ran upstairs to my room. I sat on the bed and cried. I let everything out with my tears. I heard footsteps coming upstairs. Thank god I need a hug from Nia right now. There was a knock on my room and I said come in through my cries. It was Cori. I looked away. She walked over to the bed and sat next to me. She put her hand on my knee and I didn't fight it.
"London,"
"No fuck you Cori, how could you do that? You know how much that hurt me. You had sex with me left then went to go fuck some random ass bitch," I started crying harder
"London,"
"No I know I didn't wait and you're mad I get it but Cori three fucking years. Do you know how long that is. Everyone thought you were dead. I didn't know what to do. I needed that hole filled and Steph was there. She helped. She helped me so much. Not just with my emotional state but she helped me push through and be a good mom while you weren't here. All I could do was think of you and I was starting to neglect the kids. I couldn't do that anymore. So I'm fucking sorry okay," I was now screaming through my sobs and she just stayed quiet. She sat back on the bed then pulled me in so that I was crying on her chest. She held me in her arms and we just said nothing. The silence was peaceful, like the old times. I still fit in her arms and she still held me the same. I could feel wetness hitting the top of my head and I looked up to so Cori was quietly tearing up. It looked like she needed a release so I just let her continue. I felt my eyes closing and I began falling asleep. I was drained. I needed to rest.

I was woken up by the sounds of my two little children.
"Mommy, Momma wake up wake up," I looked up and Cori looked like she had just woken up too. I looked up at her and she gave a small smile. The kids were jumping on the bed and we pulled them down and close to us.
"What's up," Cori asked them.
"It's not nap time," Tristan said.
"Oh my you're right," i said looking at Cori with a smile on my face.
"Do you know the side effects of taking a nap to early?" Cori said looking at me then back at them. The kids stood with their eyes wide.
"I think it turns us into-"
"Monsters!" Cori finished and we jumped out of bed. The kids ran laughing as we chased them around the house like we were monsters.
"We're gonna get ya," I said and they laughed.
"No you won't mommy you're so slow" Tyla called out. They quickly went down the stairs and we chased them around the couch. They made their way to their play room in the basement and they started jumping on the mini trampoline. Cori caught them mid air in her arms. We all fell to the ground and we tickled them.
"We are the tickle monsters!" Cori said as they laughed. I looked over at her and she was happy. All she has ever wanted was me and this family. Now that she's back that's exactly what I'm going to give to her.
