Have you ever just had that person that makes you so happy and every time you see them or hear them laugh your heart skips a beat. I know I sound really corny right now but my feelings for Moana are real. In the past I was a real jerk-scratch that- I was horrible to her. When I think about the things I did I just want to hold her and tell her I'm sorry but I know we have to take things slow, I can tell she's scared of me and I need to fix that. Since Moana has not been to school in a week I decided to help her with her make-up homework which we are currently doing right now.
"Ok so what did Francis Scott Key do", said Moana with a confused face
"He wrote the "Star-Spangled-Banner"
"Oh well that's cool but I have a headache from all this learning"
"Do you want to take a break?"
"Yeah and plus I need to talk to you about something"
"What do you need to talk to me about?"
"It's about Sunshine"
When she said that name so many memories came rushing back to me. Her death, and finding her pale, lifeless body. It took everything in me not get angry Moana knows that is a hard subject for me.
"What about her",I said trying to sound nice
"Did you guys find any notes concerning why she died"
"You mean suicide notes?"
"Yeah"
"No, we never found any"
"What if I tell you that Moana did not commit suicide but instead she was murdered"
"Then I would tell you your crazy because she was not murdered I found her myself"
"Mason, how do you kno_"
"Moana ,just shut up I don't care what you have to say I found her body in the tub, I was the one who called 911, I was the person cried every night because I could not protect her. So do not tell me I'm wrong now let's just sit get back to work please."
"Sorry Mason, I can't do that Sunshine did not commit suicide she was murdered"
At that point I let all my anger consume me. She really pissed me off I ask her to drop it but she continued. Sometimes I just can't help it if they will not stop.
"MOANA GET OUT!"
"NO, MASON YOU WILL NOT TREAT ME LIKE THIS EVERY TIME YOU GET MAD. I WILL NOT LET YOU BREAK ME DOWN AGAIN. SO HERE IS THE DEAL YOUR GOING TO SIT YOUR BUTT DOWN AND LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY"
And by my surprise I did exactly that I sat down listen.
