The end of Humanity?

Part 6 darkness

Jake, seth,and Joelle carried on down the hall. Jake pulled out a flashlight holding it over his pistol and Seth equiped a flashlight to the top of his gun as the hall way got darker and dark from most of the light broken or not powered. Jake see's a room off to the left. "I'm going to give a quick peek into the room for anything of use" seth nods waiting by the door Joelle stands near by Seth . as Jake walks into the room there is a smell of something rotten. He looks around and see's a body that is mutilated and unrecognizable. Jake covers his mouth quickly trying not to throw up from look at the body. Jake quickly runs out of the room and stands in the middle of the hall way bent over sightly panting. "What the hell is wrong with you Jake?" Seth walks over putting his hand on jakes shoulder. "There's a body just mutilated in there and it smells of rotten flash. I didn't see any important in there but I am not going back in there to look" Jake takes a deep breath and stands up straight. "Okay let's just continue on..." Jake starts to walk again shining his flashlight up ahead. They start to come to a bend in the hall . theres a black figure at the bend on the ground . Jake and Seth shine there lights on it but all can be seen is a thick blackness "t-thats one of those things..." Joelle whispers to me and seth. Jake aims his gun at it and shoots at it. A screech is heard and it runs down the hall. "I shot it. Do you think it did anything to it?" Jake looks back at Joelle. Joelle shakes her head no looking frighten. "I don't think bullets can kill it" Joelle says shaking. "I'm gonna go after it I'm gonna try to kill it. Seth you take Joelle back to the ship." Jake starts to walk after the Monster around the bend. Seth hands Joelle a pistol and they follow after him.
