It has been three weeks since I have seen the gang. I knew eventually I would have to face them again so that's what I decided to do today after school. As the bell rang to dismiss us from the hell we call school, I walked home to change.

I walked through my front door and let it slam behind me. As usual nobody was home, mom was working extra hours, and my moms boyfriend was still at work. I walked into my room and changed into a pair of shorts, a gray v-neck and my converse.

I walked the six blocks to the Curtis house. I walked down the street to the little white house and up the creaky steps to the front door. I walked in and let the door slam, but what I saw was unordinary, everyone was sitting around in complete silence.

Dally was sitting on the couch not looking any different from the last time I saw him, Steve looked like he was thinking which was something we rarely saw, Sodapop looked like he hadn't slept in about three days, Darry looked worried and Two-bit had a unreadable looked in his eye, but I didn't see Ponyboy or Johhny. "Hey guys, what's wrong? Where's Pony and Johnny?" I asked and everyone except Dally winced. "You didn't hear?" Two-bit asked, "No, I've been locked up in my room." I said. "Ponyboy and Johnny went to the movies a couple nights ago and met some broads, the girls boyfriends got mad and found the boys at the park and jumped 'em. Johnny fought back and ended up killing Bob." Dally explained since none of the other guys would, I looked over a Soda who I knew was taking this hard and I was right, those words had cause his eyes to fill to the brim with tears and him to walk to his room. I was upset about Bob dying but I was way more worried about Pony and Johnny, they were just kids who were fighting back.

"Dally can I talk to you?" I asked my dark haired boyfriend. "Yeah," he said pulling me outside, "what's up?". "I know you know where they are so spill it." I said, "I can't tell you." he said, I know he couldn't lie to me. "Well if you won't tell me then when you go to see them can I come?" I asked, he looked like he was about to say no but I gave him a glare. "Fine, you can come." he said knowing I wouldn't give up.

I arrived home around 5:30 so I would be home for diner, my mom had cooked chicken casserole, yum my favorite. We had the usual family diner, talking about our day but I never mentioned Pony or Johnny. I washed my plate, took a shower, and went to sleep.
