Chapter Five

So it's now Monday and that means school. UGH! I have good grades and all but I hate waking up at 6 in the morning. At least I have Two-Bit in all my classes.

I got up and up on my makeup, which consist of black eyeliner on my waterline and mascara. I then straightened my hair and put on a pair of jeans, my black converse, and one of Dally's old black t-shirts he let me have. I went and ate some cereal and brushed my teeth and went to sit outside to wait for Two-Bit to drive us to school.

He was a little late because Ponyboy couldn't find his book bag, but finally he got here. "Good morning Aspen!" Pony asked when I got in the car, "Hey guys." I mumbled, I'm not really a morning person. We got there and was welcomed by the nasty stares of socs, well mostly Two and Pony cause I'm good friends with socs since I used to be one.

Well me and Two are in first period which is science and Two-Bit is cracking jokes like usual. He can always make people laugh, greaser or soc, even the teachers think he's funny. He doesn't make that good of grades considering that he's 18 and still a junior.

After second period Math and third period English it was finally lunch, which is also History. That's the only period we get to see Ponyboy, we sit at our usual table by the lunch lines. After our usual fun and laughter filled lunch, Two-bit and I go to our fifth period free period, sixth period P.E. and seventh period Publications. Finally school was over and Two-bit, Pony, and I drive over to the DX to hangout with Soda and Steve if their not busy.

"Hey Soda, here comes the smarties." Steve said through the door to Soda, "Smarties? Obviously you didn't notice Two-Bit." Soda joked. "Ha. Ha. Very funny!" Two-Bit smiled. "How was school?" Soda asked Pony and I, "It was fine." We said at the same time then high-fived.

Two-bit dropped me off at home. "Bye guys. Tell Dally I love him if you see him tonight." I said getting out of the car.
