Manik: Nandini, I've been asking you what's next, but you haven't told me anything and why are we here?

Nandini: Manik, this is the lake behind your hotel.

Manik: REALLY? I didn't even know about it, Nandini.

Manik said it sarcastically, but Nandini didn't notice.

Nandini: WHAT? You always stay in this hotel whenever you come to Paris, right? So how could you not know?

Manik: I mean, of course I know, but why are we here?

Nandini: Guess.

Manik saw some people getting into a boat.

Manik: Now don't tell me we're going on a boat ride without a ticket.

Nandini: Don't worry, I won't say that. We'll do something else.

Manik: What?

Nandini: We'll jump into the lake, Manik.

Nandini said this excitedly.

Manik: You're joking, right?

Nandini: No, I'm serious.

Manik: No, Nandini, we won't jump. Didn't you see the "no swimming" sign over there?

Nandini: Manik, what's our theme today?

Manik: To do crazy things.

Nandini: So jumping into the lake will be crazy, right? Later, if they ask, we can say we slipped.

Manik: Wow, two people accidentally fell into the lake. Do you really think they will believe us?

Nandini: Fine, I'll jump. You stand here. If we say one person slipped, they'll believe it, right?

By the time Nandini jumped into the lake, Manik had only just realized what she said.

Manik: NANDINIII!

Without thinking, Manik jumped into the lake and managed to grab Nandini, who was starting to drown. The water was about the level of Manik's shoulder, but for Nandini, it was enough to make her go under. Manik held her tightly. Both gasped for air.

Manik: Have you gone crazy? Why the hell did you jump into the lake when you don't know how to swim?

Nandini was quiet.

Manik: Are you going to say something?

Nandini: I jumped into the lake even though I don't know how to swim because I knew you wouldn't let me drown.

Manik calmed down a bit.

Manik: Never, ever do this to me. I can't afford to lose you, Nandini.

Manik said this emotionally.

Nandini: Okay, Manik. I won't.

Manik: Thank god nothing happened to you.

Manik hugged Nandini tightly, and she hugged him back.

Security Guy: Hey, what's happening there? Need any help?
