Adjustment

**Jenna's POV**

Zoey and I leave for California tomorrow. I'm excited to go, but I'm exhusted. Axel hasn't adjusted well too Ryan being gone, and to be honest I haven't either. Axel has been sleeping in my bed and is really fussy.

"Good morning, little man" I told Axel as he laid next to me.

I got a text from Ryan than he could Skype us so I opened my computer awaiting his call.

"Hey, babe" I said as he appeared on the screen

"Hey Jenna. How's everything going?"

"Good, just Axel is kinda fussy. Other than that everything is good."

"I wish I could be there to help you with him."

"I know me too, but Zoey has really helped me too. She took him last night for me."

"Oh, that's good I guess."

"Yeah, we get to see each other in a week though"

"I know it's just hard not being able to hold him"

"I know babe"

"Hey I gotta go. I love you"

"I love you too" I said closing my laptop

I went downstairs with Axel and fed him breakfast.

"Good morning, Sitkowski's" Zoey said walking into the kitchen.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" I asked

"Yes! I'm so excited!"

**Ryan's POV**

I just closed my laptop after talking to Jenna. I miss her and Axel so much, and being so far away doesn't help.

"Ryan! We're going for food!  Get your lazy butt up and let's go!" Ricky yelled

I grabbed my phone and went with the guys to eat.

"Have you talked to Jenna recently?" Chris asked

"Yeah, right before we left I talked to her." I told him

"How's little man?"

"He's getting big. He's grown so much this past week." I said playing with the straw in my drink

"Well, Jenna is coming to the show next week right?" Vinny asked

"Yeah, but I still have to survive the next week without them"

"Very true, dude"

**Jenna's POV**

"Zoey!! How many suitcases are you bringing!?!"

"Like 2? Why?" Zoey said

"Just wondering I don't know what to bring. Like Axel has one huge suitcase all to himself" I told her

Zoey came walking into my room carrying Axel.

"Jenna, he is super fussy today." She said handing Axel to me.

"I know. He saw Ryan this morning and he was really happy, but once Ryan went off the screen he just cried" I told her

"He misses his daddy, Jenna."

"I know he does, but I can't just drop everything and fly us to Europe where he is now can I?"

"Well, I guess not, but maybe seeing your parents will help him."

"Hopefully it will. It'll probably distract him from Ryan"

"Do you miss Ryan?" She asked

"Of course I do. I'm so thankful that you're here and you help me with Axel, but its different when Ryan is here because he's Axel's father, you know?" I told her

"Yeah, I get it, but at least you'll get to see him in a week she said

I just hope this week goes by fast
