"I don't know, okay? I don't know why you and I went to bed one night and then magically appeared two thousand twenty some-odd miles away from homes, I don't know what we are going to do and I don't know how to get back either! I'm sorry but I don't have answers to all your questions!" I snapped, I had been holding that in for a long time. But once I said it I didn't feel better, in fact, I felt worse. He just wanted the same thing I did, to get home. I stopped walking, put my hand up to face, and sighed, cursing myself for being such a jerk.
"I didn't mean to upset you, Maggie, I'm really sorry.'' He said while kicking a rock across the asphalt. "You didn't," I replied.
"I'm just on edge, I'm hungry, tired and God, I really have to pee," I said leaning over and crossing my legs just realizing I hadn't gone to the restroom all day (Smart move Maggie). He stood there for a moment and just stared at me with a stupid look on his face, then he started laughing, I smiled and looked at the ground.
"We're both on edge once of us was bound to snap, I'll stay here, you go take your pee break." He said patting me on the back.
