Two weeks later, Lion remained as a gem. Steven made sure to watch it carefully and kept it out of harms way.
He sat on his bed, watching the gemstone that was on the pillow on his nightstand.

"Why is he taking so long?"
Steven whined, expecting one of the gems that were in the kitchen to answer.

"You just have to be patient, Steven."
Garnet spoke as Steven lied down with a sigh. He closed his eyes and drifted off into sleep.

In the middle of the night, Steven woke up from a voice. The voice was deep yet soft.  He looked at the pillow, noticing the gem was gone.
Slowly, he sat up, looking around.

"Hello?"
Steven whisper-yelled, loud enough for the being there to hear but quiet enough for the crystal gems to not hear.
Suddenly, a buff, pink female stood up, looking at steven. She had pink skin with a mane of lighter pink hair. She had black cat-like eyes and two "fangs".

"You're awake."
Was all she said.
Steven got startled, but then realized who it might've been.

"Lion?!"
Steven squinted, it was the middle of the night so he was still half asleep.

"I'm not a lion anymore.."
She spoke.
Steven's eyes became stars as he stood up and ran over to her.

"Oh my gosh!!"
He exlaimed as he hugged her tightly.
She gasped, taken by suprise by his sudden hug.

"Sorry I took so long...It took a while to change my form to this from a lion.."
She said, fluffing her hair.

"It was worth the wait!"
Steven said with a smile, taking her hand and running outside with her.

"Lets talk outside so the gems don't hear us. I'll get in trouble if they found out I didn't let them know you reformed."
Steven said.

"Wait, why?"
She asked tilting her head.

"Oh, uhh..you kinda attacked me when you were Lion.."
He replied with an awkward chuckle.

"Right. I can explain..."
She started with a sigh.
