"dammit!!" I exclaimed slamming my hand on the steering. Like things could not get more annoying, It was only past 9 in the morning but it was like the day could not get any more annoying. First, Safa tells me she spent the day with Ahmad, Hah!! Ahmad, I am going to have to meet this guy some day. It seems like we need to talk and he needs to know his place with my wife.
I was already 30 minutes late for a very important meeting and I was nowhere near the office, stuck in this frustrating traffic, but all I could think of was Safa. I was dying to ask her what her relationship with Ahmad was but something told me I would not like her answer.
The guy was basically everything I wasn't and that, unfortunately, means everything she liked, he was young maybe at most he would be 3 years older than Safa and he could give her children, it wouldn't be long before Safa realises he was a better option than me and switches sides. I'd be damned if I let that happen.
I swerved to my right narrowingly avoiding a collision with the car beside me and I heard the driver curse at me but I did not pay him any mind. I had better things to think about. First, how to get to this meeting as early as possible and make sure I get the deal and secondly, winning Safa back to my side permanently.
In my mind, Ahmad is a threat to our marriage one Safa is not aware of yet. I see these things happen every day and just when she drops her guard down, he pounces and takes advantage of the situation and I know between Safa and me, there are going to be so many situations and I am not willing to hand our relationship over to Ahmad in a platter of gold.
