Again, this is the idea of the same friend that helped me out of the Valentine's Day Special and "He's With The Tomboy" imagines. All credits go to her!

Kai's P.O.V. . .
"So far, all you need is some rest in bed, and you're good to go." The doctor advised "Please take better care of your throat."
"Sure thing, doc!" I said in my hoarse voice "Thank you so much!"
I bowed in front of him before exiting the doctor's office. I really learned my lesson to never sing all night in a karaoke room. Now, all I had to do was reunite with my friend, Kyungsoo, at BonChon.
"Excuse me?" You said tapping me behind my back "Do you know where Room 174 is?"
You were holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers "Oh, it's just on this floor, straight ahead." I smiled "Those are really lovely flowers by the way. I hope he or she gets well soon."
You nodded your head at me "Thank you. . . Uh, sorry what is your name?"
"Kim Jongin, at your service, m'lady." I said giving a formal bow in front of you.
You laughed a bit "_______, at your service as well, m'lord." You said trying to imitate my bow. Sooner or later, we both laughed.
"Hey, I'll see you around, Lord Jongin." You smiled punching my arm and running off to your destination.
At BonChon. . . (I love BonChon, just so you know <3)
"Kai. . . ?" Kyungsoo said waving his hand in front of my face "KAI!!! SNAP OUT OF IT!!!"
"Who, what, where?!" I said finally paying attention to D.O.
"Dude. You haven't touched your chicken." He said concerned and looking at the cold chicken "And I know you love chicken more than anything else in the world."
I stared down at my untouched food and slouched back to the table "Hey, I think we should go to the hospital more often."
D.O. raised an eyebrow at me "Do you really want to spend more money for the doctor's fee? Your perfectly fine right now!"
"Come on! I can feel my throat worsening at this very moment." I pointed at my throat and did a few coughs
Kyungsoo dead panned at me like he can look through my soul "I've known you for the past years of my life. Something's up."
I sighed and began eating my food "I met a really nice girl." I started talking with my mouth full "And I think I should get to know her and-"
"Hook up with her?" D.O. grinned
"Maybe." I smiled back
"Alright, fine. I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow." He said "BUT DON'T GO TO THE DOCTOR, JUST SEE IF YOU COULD FIND HER. Geez man, we aren't rich."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" I said giving him a big smile and hug "I owe you one!"
I've been going to the hospital frequently just to see you. I always wondered why I always see you outside of Room 174. I didn't bother asking you anyway, and had lots to fun being with you.
"Hey, wanna come outside with me?" I asked one day "We can go eat at BonChon, my favourite chicken place!~"
You gave me a smile, but it soon faded away "I'm sorry, Jongin. . . I really do have to stay here. I don't have a choice."
A few weeks later. . .
Another day of being with you! I was extremely thrilled! I ran across the hallways leading to Room 174. But the strange thing was, you weren't outside like you usually were. '_______?' I thought to myself
For the first time ever, I decided to open the door where your sick relative was. As I opened it, all what I saw was an empty hospital bed with a wilted bouquet of flowers. The ones I saw a month ago.
"Where are you. . .?" I asked myself. I looked at the table again where I saw a box of BonChon chicken and a note that said "To My Lord, Jongin." I quickly took the note and read it.
Your majesty Jongin,
Haha, hey Kai. I knew you would barge into my hospital room. Sorry you couldn't see me today. . . But I'll be going away for a really long time now. I'm also sorry for not telling you sooner, but I was diagnosed with cancer of a couple of years now. Funny, huh?
Your lady, _______ will be going to a better place soon. It really won't be the same since you can't come there yet, but I'll wait for you~
I haven't been telling everything yet. When you first saw me, I wasn't giving the flowers to anyone. Those flowers. . . were actually for me.
Hey, you must be crying now. I knew you would anyway, I got you your favourite chicken to cheer you up! Please don't cry. I'll always love you, Kai.
Your lady, _________, signing off
I held on the paper and felt tears sliding down my face "This is not happening. This is not happening." I chanted to myself over and over again, hearing my voice cracking every second.
I looked at the flowers and the box full of chicken, and then back at the letter. . . Next thing I know, I was crying my eyes out.
. . .
I know you aren't around anymore, but I still go to the hospital every now and then. Even when I'm not sick at all.
Just wait for me a bit longer. . . I know you can do that.
