I look out the window of my new home, and I see it is rainy. I sigh, it was expected. We did just move to the wettest town on the map. Mother chose this place because of the rain. She photographs forests and things nature involves.

I get dressed in some Forever 21 jeans and a Forever 21 cropped tank with two unicorns on the front. I pull my heels on and I brush my hair. I take in my outfit in my full body mirror. I did this decent enough for my first day.

"Sage, honey, are you ready?" Mother asks, tapping on the other side of my door.

"Yeah, mother." I call. "I'll be right down."

I grab my bag and I walk downstairs. Mother takes in my attire and she smiles. We walk out to her green, garden truck that she bought in Dallas on the way. She pulls out of the driveway and she waits for a red Porsche to leave their drive across the street.

"Mother?" I say

"Mother?" I say. "I need a car."

"I was getting one for you today, while you were in school." She replies as she pulls out and drives towards the school.

Students are staring at mother's truck in disgust when we pull in. I put my head down I shame as I walk across the lot, knowing they are bashing me for being in that. I bump into someone, and I fall.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" She exclaims. "I'm new here and can't find my way around!"

"I'm new here too." I mumble as I take her help getting up.

"I'm Isabella Swan, but you can call me Bella." She smiles.

"I'm Sage Turner, and that's short for nothing." I reply, smiling back.

We walk into the school together, to find the office.

"May I help you?" The kind receptionist asks.

"We are new." Bella says. "Isabella Swan and Sage Turner."

Karen, the receptionist, types in her computer before walking towards the filing cabinets in the back. Bella and I have a seat by the door, waiting for this slow receptionist named Karen.

"Here you ladies go." She smiles. "Have your teachers sign these and turn them in before you leave."

We nod before leaving. We don't have a class together until fourth, lunch, and fifth. I smile at Bella before I make my way through the crowd. I bump into a beautiful girl with dirty blonde hair.

"Sorry." I mutter.

"It's fine, really." Her voice is even angelic. "Do you need help? You appear to be lost."
