*LOVE CONQUER'S ALL* (Criss Angel Story)

*TWENTY-SIX*

Criss and I were sleeping with Johnny in between us in our room...for he was always insecure and wanted to stay close after his treatments...but as he lay there asleep...Criss looked at me while rubbing his head...told me that for our son...it would be best if we got married...that way it would give him the security he needs knowing that his mommy and daddy were going to be together forever...and he'd never have to choose just one of us...I held out my hand to him and took his free hand and gave it a squeeze...and told him whatever he decided was fine with me...that I have dreamt of being his wife ever since I had first got together with him all those years ago...but was perfectly content...just being there with him and a part of his life.

Criss reached over Johnny and kissed me deeply and said that he would never love anyone as much as he loves me...then said it was about damn time he made the commitment...plus it would make his mom happy knowing that he finally tied the knot with me...I giggled quietly with him and told him well beens it was for our mommy and our son...I would do it...he shook his head and said good...it was settled then...we were going to get married in a few days...I looked at him and said in a few days!!! How in the hell was I going to have everything ready in a few days!!...he looked at me and said that was my department...his work was over...he popped the question, now everything else was up to me...but when I saw the look on his face I slapped him, and told him what did he do...he handed me a book...that had all the arrangements in it already...then it also showed that he sent off invitations to my brother and sister in law...then to some of his other friends...and of course his family...and all his crew wanted to be there.

I told him with a smile that he was such a sneaky little stinker...he giggled and said yes he was...but all that was left to do...was for me to go shopping for my wedding gown...that he already had his tux ordered. I quickly grabbed my phone and began looking for dresses online...but he said if I didn't mind he had one already picked out...but he didn't order it yet...just in case I didn't like it...but when he showed it to me...I told him it was very beautiful...but when I saw the price tag on it...I told him I didn't need that much of a dress for one day...Criss looked at me and said that's the one he wanted to see me in...he placed the order, and said it would be there in a day or two.

For the next day, I was running all through the house a nervous wreck...especially when my wedding dress came in...Dimitra, Rachel, and Klayton were at the house helping with the decorations...when I tried on the dress...I walked to the steps and asked them what they thought...Klayton told me immediately that I was absolutely gorgeous...I told them that I had butterflies that wouldn't stop fluttering...Johnny was feeling much better know and scampering through the house playing with one of the white balloons...then he saw me in the dress and crawled up the stairs and wanted up...I picked him up and kissed him and asked him what he thought of it...he gave me a wet kiss and said I was very pwetty.

Jd and Costa were now at the house helping get the guests organized and seated in their seats out in the back yard...Dimi was the flower girl with Johnny walking beside her holding the basket of flower petals...he looked so sweet in his little tux that was identical to his daddy's...Dc and Dani flew out to celebrate my wedding too with their newborn baby girl Destiny...which I was very excited to meet for the first time since she was born...my brother actually wore a tux for my wedding...I was shocked...but he looked very handsome. Rachel was my maid of honor...and Dani and Lynn were my bridesmaids...and even thought Dc was my brother he refused to be in the spotlight...so he said he was just there to be there for me in the sidelines...so Klayton said he'd walk me down the aisle...for he said he was going to do it even if Dc wanted to do it or not. I smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek, and told him how much he's meant to me over the years...then I asked him not to let me fall...he looked directly into my eyes and said he'd never let that happen.

As I walked down the aisle to the slow music...I was a nervous wreck...until I looked up and saw Criss standing at the end of it waiting for me...as soon as my eyes locked with his...all the butterflies fluttered out of me...and into the heavens they went...Johnny was sitting in a wagon beside us both holding the ring Criss got for me...as soon as I said...I do...Criss dipped me and laid a huge kiss on me...and while he had me down...he held out his free hand to Johnny and he handed him the ring...and when he brought me back up...he gently placed the wedding band in front of my engagement ring he put on me last night after he made love to me...the next thing I heard was the justice of the peace telling us that we were now husband and wife...then everyone tossed hats and confetti as they congratulated us both.

Criss and I both picked up our son and took pictures for the mantlepiece...then had a few extras for the walls and for the family to share...it was one of the happiest moments of my life...for know we truly were a family...next in line was the sharing of the cake and sparkling grape juice...for Criss knew Rachel was pregnant and didn't allow alcoholic beverages at the party...everything went beautifully...but my most memorable moment was when Criss and I did our special wedding dance...which we both decided on You & Me by Alice Cooper...followed by Connection, and Awakening With You, by Klayton himself. All in all the day went perfect, and everyone was happy for us...but Johnny played out before the party was over and fell asleep under the present table with Chicklet and Wondermutt...Oso was too busy getting people to give him their leftovers from their plates...Criss kissed me then picked up our sleepy little man and carried him to his bed, and tucked him in...then kissed him on the forehead, and joined me back down at the party.

Hours later the party was over and all the guests slowly dispersed after wishing us both good luck one more time and congratulating us again...and all that was left was our immediate family...Dc hugged me and said how beautiful the wedding and reception it was...then he congratulated Criss in finally being his brother in law...but said they couldn't stay...for he had to get back to New York...for he had to go to work in the morning...and so did Dani...after she dropped off our little girl at our mom and dad's...I looked at him and said that mom and dad consider their baby as family...but won't consider my son as their grandson....Dc said he didn't understand their way of thinking...but as long as they did...they'd have free babysitters to take care of her while they were at work...they kissed me and said their final goodbyes...then headed off to the airport so they wouldn't miss their flight back home.

I looked at Criss and told him how shitty I thought that was...but he wrapped his arms around me and said not to let small shit like that bother me...for Johnny had a gramma and that's all he needed...plus he had three uncles and three aunts...two that lived very close by...then not to mention the fact that after tonight...Sully adopted him as well. I kissed him back and told him he was right...that my parents have always been that way...and I wasn't going to let it bother me ever...for Johnny had us...and that's all he'd ever need.
