☆ Chapter 4 ☆

"Hwang Minhyun imnida. Please take care of me."

Minah rolled her eyes secretly when the other girls from their room swooned at how 'hot' they think his Busan accent is but Minhyun managed to see it and he silently chuckled. He got back to his seat and threw Minah a piece of paper that was folded neatly on her lap like a ninja. Minah was startled when Minhyun threw the paper. She blinked hard before opening the paper.

'I know you find my Busan accent hot. Don't stare further. You might melt me.'

Minah silently gasped at how conceited Minhyun is. She hissed as she crumpled the paper and shoved it in her bag. She rolled her eyes when she heard Minhyun chuckle. Instead of putting much attention on the boy, Minah got her book as instructed by their chemistry proctor. After a few minutes of lecturing, Minah swore she wished that the floor would swallow her alive when the proctor had her paired up with Minhyun.

"Seongsaengnim! Why did you paired Minhyun with Minah?"

"Can we exchange partners? I can be a great help to Minhyun!"

"Can I have Minhyun for my partner instead?"

Minah groaned when the chain of complains started. The proctor banged the white board, causing the students to shut up. "Stick to whom I paired you up or else I'll give you a grade of 70%." With that, the students and also Minah kept quiet. She wouldn't want to receive a failing grade right?

Minah tried hard to concentrate on the lecture if it wasn't for her seatmate who was lowly humming a random tune. Minah got a small sticky note and wrote on it. Minhyun didn't even bothered looking at what his seatmate is doing until Minah put the sticky note on his notebook that says: 'Can you stop humming? Your voice is nice but I can't even concentrate on the lesson.'

Minhyun thought of annoying his seatmate. He placed the sticky note on his notebook and started to hum a bit louder but not enough to be heard by the class. Minah gave herself a facepalm. She placed her hands on her lap and tried to calm herself. Minhyun on the other hand grabbed Minah's right hand and held it a bit tight which startled the girl beside him. Minah tried to remove her hand from Minhyun's grasp but much to her dismay, Minhyun only made it worse by lacing his fingers thru Minah's. Sighing, Minah rested her chin with her free left hand and continued to listen. 'He has soft hands~ Too bad. He's really just annoying. I bet he's younger than me.' Minah thought as her hand slowly held Minhyun's.

The bell rang and as soon as the proctor got out, Minah removed her hands from Minhyun. "What was that for, Hwang Minhyun?!"

Minhyun chuckled. "Come again, Hwang Minah?"

"Why did you---"

"Ya! Minhyun ah! Minah!"

Minhyun and Minah turned to the direction of the voice. Aron was already calling them from outside. Minah saw JR and immediately ran to him, not caring about her newly found classmate. "JR!"

"Oh! Minah! How are you?" JR grinned as he messed Minah's hair who gave him a pout in return.

"It was---"

"It was nice. We had chemistry together." Minhyun butted in the conversation. He wasn't implying anything until someone spoke up.

"Well, you do make a good pair~" Ren nodded while munching on a biscuit.

"Ren!" Minah immediately objected. "We just had one chemistry class together. The tall one isn't implying anything!"

"Whoa Minah~ Don't get too defensive." Minhyun smirked as he went to the cafeteria with Ren, Aron and Baekho.

"I swear I'll burn your hair when I get the chance!" Minah shouted which made JR chuckle.

"Let's go and follow them. I'm hungry~"

"W-wait! My wallet's in my bag~"

"Aish, you girl~ I'll just treat you today. Kaja!" JR chuckled as he pulled Minah to the cafeteria.

"But... I'll pay you!" Minah pouted while following JR.

"I'll be at the café tomorrow. How about spending your lunch break with me?"

Minah smiled as she liked the idea. "Alright. Just be sure to show up?"

JR grinned. "Of course~ Now what would you like to eat?"

Minah looked at the row of foods at the counter and laid her eyes on the plate of kimbap. "The kimbap~ And patbingsu~" She shyly told JR her cravings. "Patbingsu? They serve a big bowl of that. There's only one size for that." JR pointed the big bowl which the cafeteria personnel use when making patbingsu. Minah frowned. It was hot. She really wanted some patbingsu but the bowl was too big and she can't finish it all. And then, an idea popped in her mind as she grinned. "I can share with you and the rest of the boys." JR nodded as he thought it was a good idea especially for Ren who really love sweets.

On the other hand, Minhyun, Ren, Aron and Baekho were occupying the big table at the corner. "Ya~ Minhyun." Aron spoke up with his American accent. "Yes hyung?"

"Why do I feel that Minah will be your next victim?"

Minhyun laughed at the word 'victim'. "No hyung~ I just enjoy seeing her reactions."

"Isn't that a bit harsh? After all, she's still a girl~" Ren blinked as he ate his cherry torte.

"Go easy on her Minhyun ah~ I've heard from JR that she's Lime's best friend." Baekho laughed while sipping on his coke.

"Lime's best friend? The staff at Coffee Chu?" Ren blinked.

"Yeah~" Aron nodded. "Information credits goes to JR."

"Who's Lime eonni's best friend?"

Minhyun looked up to see Minah with JR. "Hi Minah!" He grinned which Minah gave a silent hiss in return.
