At school, Minhyun was beyond furious. No one, even his friends could talk to him. Minah was silently having a mental party in her mind. She finally had revenge against Minhyun but at the same time, she felt a bit bad since she haven’t done anything yet for him where in Minhyun had bought her new clothes and everything.

“Yo guys. Why is Minhyun like a walking deadly weapon?” Ren asked curiously.

“Yeah, like he’s close in ambushing someone who will even just go close to him.” Baekho added.

“Aish, do you guys still not know?” Aron rubbed his temple. “Remember that Minah ditched him to go with JR?”

“And the date was great until Minhyun happened to role play a freaking ninja and pretended to kidnap me when we’re at the milk tea parlor.” Minah came into the scene and hissed silently as she gripped on the strap of her bag.

“Ren looked at Minah. “Speaking of, where is your boyfriend anyway?”

“JR? He’s at the auditorium.” Minah nodded and stuffed her things in her locker that weren’t needed for the first 3 periods. “Mrs. Lee called him since he’s needed for the dance performance for the upcoming school foundation day.”

Ren, Baekho and Aron decided that they’ll go ahead to their first class and Minah nodded, signaling she’ll follow right after. Once the 3 boys were gone, Minah thought of finding Minhyun so she can apologize for what she did. Hey what, the girl also has a nice heart. But all train of thoughts were messed up when she was turned around and slammed to the locker by no other than…

“Seriously? What the hell?” Minah hissed.

“You’re coming with me later whether you like it or not.” Minhyun glared down at her and Minah felt her cheeks heat up because of the closeness of their faces.

“Crap. You don’t need to stick your face this close to me Minhyun!” Minah squeaked and Minhyun blinked, realizing how close his face is to Minah’s. He quickly backed away and cleared his throat. “Don’t worry, I’ll make up for you since I was missing during your family dinner.”

“Good to hear then.”

“But I have to tell JR first.”

“Why do you have to tell him everything?”

“Because Hwang Minah is my girlfriend.” JR came up to the two and Minah smiled brightly. “Where are you taking her later?”

Well, JR is right. She was JR’s girlfriend after all. He gave himself a mental facepalm and grumble. “Just a talk at Coffee Chu. I don’t need you to tail on us later since it’s confidential between the both of us only.”

JR looked at Minah as if he’s searching for an answer from her. Minah smiled at JR as she gripped on her bag strap. “It’s okay JR~” she nodded in assurance. “Minhyun won’t hurt me.”

“I hope so.” JR glared at his taller friend.

“Hey,” Minhyun snarled at JR. “Just because I may have said mean things to her doesn’t mean I will literally hurt her.”

“Well, your mean words can also hurt a person as well.” JR said bluntly and held Minah’s hand so that they can go to classes together, leaving Minhyun behind.

Well, JR is right. The words Minhyun said to Minah was indeed hurtful. Saying a girl isn’t pretty can bring down the girl’s self-confidence and self-esteem. Minhyun sighed. He was supposed to say sorry to Minah if it wasn’t for his oh-so-bratty attitude overcoming his angel side. He ruffled his hair in frustration and went to class as well.

First period was Chemistry which means Minah and Minhyun will be seatmates and of course, Minah was beyond pissed off. Their proctor assigned a duo work and much to her surprise, Minhyun was gentle and nice which left Minah thinking if Minhyun is bipolar or has a split personality. They happened to finish their work without any bickering. Bell rang, signaling Chemistry was over and it’s time for English Literature. Minah got up and went to her seat beside JR which is her seat during the said period. Minhyun didn’t even bothered getting up from his seat and just drowned himself with the book he just bought until Ren, the playful maknae, dragged him to their clique.

“What the—“ Minhyun looked up at Ren as he was dragged by the smaller one.

“Why are you sitting far away from us?” Ren asked as he grabbed Minhyun’s backpack as well.

“I just don’t want to sit near JR and Minah. I might puke at their PDA.” Minhyun snarled as he took a glance at JR who was teaching Minah their next lesson as he fed her a chocolate chip cookie.

Ren just laughed and Minhyun narrowed his fox like eyes at Ren. “What are you laughing at?”

“Minhyun, you don’t like Minah, in fact, you hate her.” Ren state bluntly. “But why do you sound like a jealous boyfriend saw his girlfriend hanging out with your bestfriend?”

Minhyun got tongue tied. Why was he jealous? Ren was right. He doesn’t like Minah. He even hates her but why does he feel slightly irritated whenever JR and Minah shows some skinship or when they hangout?

“Aish, Minki, stop asking nonsense questions.” Minhyun snapped at the younger one and Ren just scoffed. “I’ll seat with you guys just keep your mouth shut.”

“Good then.” Ren grinned sheepishly and placed Minhyun’s bag on the vacant seat beside him and infront of JR.

“He just have to place me infront of those two.” Minhyun hissed under his breath and Ren looked at him.

“Pardon?” Ren asked. “You were saying?”

“Oh nothing~” Minhyun smiled sarcastically as he rolled his eyes and occupied the seat Ren gave him.

Minah now noticed Minhyun’s presence and gently tapped the taller guy’s shoulder which caused Minhyun to slightly jump. “Minhyun?”

“Nae?”

“What time later?”

“Oh, after classes. We’ll go to Coffee Chu together.”

“O-okay~” Minah nodded and went back to her conversation with JR. Minhyun mentally groaned as he just decided to continue drowning himself with the book.

Few hours later and it was already dismissal. Minhyun got up and stuffed his things in his bag before turning to Minah. “Minah.”

“Nae?” Minah answered without looking at Minhyun while she’s stuffing her things in her bag as well.

“I’ll meet you at the entrance. Don’t be late.”

Minah rolled her eyes and groaned softly. “Yes boss, I won’t” then she looked around, hoping to see JR before she would go with Minhyun. But then again, JR wasn’t around since being the club president of the school’s Dance Club has a lot of work to do when the school holds events. Minah sighed and puffe her cheeks as she went out of their room.

Minhyun was already waiting at the entrance when he saw Minah. The girl approached him while drinking an energy drink. “So, what are we gonna do, boss?” Minah stated.

Minhyun smiled innocently. “I’ll just formally introduce you to my parents since I haven’t got the chance to do it because you’re not present at the family dinner.”

“Easy. Kaja?”

“Wait.” Minhyun stopped Minah from walking.

“What?”

“Dress like a girl. And when I mean ‘like a girl’, use the heels I bought you before."
