☆ Chapter 12 ☆

“Waaah~!” Minah beamed like a kid as JR brought her to Lotte World. “It’s been years since I last came here!!”

“Jinjja? Must be your lucky day today. “ JR grinned then paid for their entrance fees.

“On the other side though, why did you brought me here??” Minah asked as she followed JR inside the Lotte World.

“Well…” JR stated as he looked for some good rides to start. “I thought that this will somehow cool off your system over Minhyun. You’re very pretty when you smile. So just try and forget about Minhyun for a while hmm?”

JR’s simple words actually made Minah smile. He’s really making effort in completing Minah’s day. “Alright Agu~~~mon!!!” Minah grinned sheepishly and clinged onto JR’s arm.

“You’re really into calling me that huh?” JR grinned as he pinched Minah’s nose gently and pulled her to the roller coaster. “You’re not afraid of heights right?”

Minah grinned as she looked up at the said ride and shook her head. “Nope! I’m not afraid of anything!”

“Sweet!” JR grinned and grabbed Minah’s hand as they went inside the ride. JR accompanied Minah to sit first then he followed after. Minah was having problems with her seatbelt so JR fixed it for her. Minah gave him a sweet smile that says ‘thank you~’ in return.

The ride started moving and Minah quickly looked down at the crowd of people along Lotte World. “Waaah~ There are many peo--- WAAAAAAAAAAAH~~~!!!”

Minah’s sentence was then turned to a scream when the coaster immediately made its way down quick. JR laughed hard and had his eyes shut close when the coaster when around in circles because of the loops. Minah’s hair was all over her face since she went with JR without tying her hair. When the ride slowed down as it was preparing for the second lap, which is also the last lap, JR quickly fixed Minah’s hair in place. “You look wasted already Minah~” JR laughed.

“Mwoya?” Minah pouted and looked away as she held onto the hand rails again and the same routine repeated. When it ended, Minah was dizzy and JR felt like he wanted to throw up. When they made eye contact, they both laughed at how stupid they seemed to look like. “We look like idiots, JR~” Minah tried to prevent herself from laughing as it will only make her dizzier.

“I second the motion.” JR grinned as he was now calm and back in sense. “Let’s ride the horror tunnel!!”

“Horror Tunnel? Su--- WHAT?!” Minah had her eyes widen as JR dragged her to the Horror Tunnel entrance lane.

“What? Don’t tell me you’re afraid of this thing?” JR grinned teasingly and Minah shot him a glare. She can’t bring down her pride now.

“I’m not! Now let’s go in!”

Minutes later…

“HOLY CRAP JR! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!?!” Minah was screaming her wits out when she got crept out by the walking zombie in the tunnel. JR heard Minah’s scream and ended up laughing hard as he went to her. “Yah!”

Minah jumped in shock. “OH MY GOD!” Then she looked at JR. “I told you to not leave me alone here right?!”

“But I thought you’re not afraid of the horror tunnel?” JR grinned as held her hand as they explored the horror tunnel.

“I’ll explain later! Do we really have to go around more?!” Minah was freaking out as she clinged to JR’s arm after one dummy with fake blood fell down from the ceiling.

“Yes of course!” JR laughed at Minah’s frustrated status. The girl was literally  clinging onto his arm. JR smiled widely when Minah hugged him tight. ‘Mission success.’ He thought to himself.

“Kim Jonghyuuuuu~n!! Let’s get outta here!!”

Minah’s shriek was enough to bring him back to trance. He quickly pulled an almost crying Minah out of the horror tunnel. JR let her sit first down on a bench as he rubbed her back. Are you okay Mi---“

“Mwoya?! Am I okay?!” Minah whined with a pout as soon as she calmed down. JR was glad she wasn’t mad or anything. “I swear if only you’re not my friend, I would’ve strangled you even before we entered that ride or whatever you call it!!”

JR pretended to be amused by Minah’s cute reactions but he was thinking of the words Minah said, especially him being his friend only as JR wanted them to be more than friends. “I’m sorry okay?” JR chuckled as he draped an arm over Minah’s shoulders and headed straight towards a bubble tea parlor. Taking a short glance at Minah, he smiled in relief when he saw a smile on the girl’s face. “Okay, tell me how can I be forgiven?” JR asked with a grin and Minah just rolled her eyes as JR knows she loves bubble teas, especially the strawberry flavored one.

“As always,” Minah chuckled and shook her head. “Strawberry flavored please.”

“Sweet!” JR grinned and paid for two drinks of the same flavor. As soon JR received the drinks, he bowed at the cashier as a form of thanks. He looked around and saw Minah occupying a vacant table. He approached her and placed her drink in front of her without a warning that it startled her.

“Aigoo!” Minah playfully narrowed his eyes at the boy across her and sipped happily on her drink.

“You’re welcome!” JR grinned as he jabbed the straw on the lid of his drink. One thing was running in his mind the whole day he was with Minah. “Minah, can I ask something?

“Shoot it.” Minah nodded while munching on the pearls of her drink.

“What if someone likes you, what will---“

“Are you talking about Minhyun here cause I’m positively sure he doesn’t and if he does, there’s no chance I’ll want a bossy guy like him for my boyfriend.”

JR chuckled as Minah was defensive though he knows there is a possibility she’ll fall for Minhyun as the latter is quite a ladies charmer. “No, not Minhyun.”

“Then who?” Minah grinned sheepishly as she continued sipping on her drink.

Gathering up all of his courage, JR blurts “I like you, Hwang Minah.”

And that leaves the girl across him almost choking on her drink while looking down in order to hide her burning cheeks.
