☆ Chapter 7 ☆

Morning came and Minah woke up, wondering how she ended up on her bed when she clearly remembered that she fell asleep on the bus. Shrugging the thought away, she decided to just prepare for her shift. As soon as she arrived at the café, she saw Lime and JR chatting by the counter. "Minah!" JR called. Minah smiled brightly as she wanted to see JR so early for a reason she doesn't know why. "Hey, you're early today~ Our lunch date is still for later." She ended with a chuckle while putting her apron on.

"You two are dating?" Lime blinked as she cleaned the counter.

"Eh?" Minah laughed shyly and shook her head. "No we're not."

"Though if Minah wants to then I'm clearly available." JR joked which earned him a knock on the head by Minah.

"Aish you kid."

"I'm no kid. I'm exactly a year older than you."

"You don't act like one."

"Hwang---"

JR's protest was cut off when a 'customer' wearing a blue cap went in and occupied the table near the glass door. "Minah, you go ask the customer for his order." Lime ordered and Minah nodded as she grabbed her small notebook and approached the customer. "Annyeong haseyo~ Welcome to Coffee Chu! May I---"

"Minah?!"

"Minhyun?!"

Minah was shocked when it was Minhyun who was in front of her. "W-why are you here?'

"I always come here around this point." Minhyun chuckled as he looked at Minah from head to toe. "And you didn't told me that you were working here?"

"Why would I even tell you? We're not that close."

"But now, we are. My parents are outside."

"What the hell?!" Minah shrieked which caught JR and Lime's attentions but Minhyun quickly covered Minah's mouth as he predicted what would come out from her mouth after. "So I have to pretend now?"

"Yes baby~" Minhyun smirked and Minah gave a disgusted face in return.

"That's gross Minhyun."

"Aw, I love you too~ But seriously, why didn't you told me that your parents are coming here? At least I could've prepared."

Minhyun shrugged as he removed his cap. "I don't know. They were trailing my car and I pretty much don't care about them so I let them follow me here."

"You good for nothing brat."

"The feeling's mutual, lady."

Then Minhyun's parents entered the café and Minah quickly bowed. "Annyeong~ Welcome to Coffee Chu~"

"Eomma! Appa!"

"Oh, Minhyun ah~" Mrs. Hwang smiled softly.

"I have to tell you something."

"Start talking boy~" Mr. Hwang snapped as he sat down on the chair. Minah gulped as she noticed that Minhyun's dad has quite a temper.

"Meet Minah~" Minhyun introduced Minah who smiled sweetly in return.

"Oh, is this lovely lady your friend Minhyun ah?" Mrs. Hwang asked as she eyed Minah from her head to toes.

"She's my girlfriend!" Minhyun beamed a bit loud which startled not only Minah but also Lime and JR at the counter.

"What? The two are dating?!" JR had his eyes widen as he looked at Lime who was still in shock of what she heard but still served the other customers who were coming in the café.

"You still have the time to find another girl to pretend to be your girlfriend? And a café worker in fact!" Mr. Hwang snorted and Minah was slightly hurt because Minhyun's dad just thinks of a café staff as a low work.

"Appa, don't make any commotion here. This is a public place." Minhyun stared at his dad with a dark look. Minah blinked at Minhyun and shook his arm lightly. "Minhyun ah..."

"I'd love to talk to you Minah ssi but my husband and I have to go. Minhyun, bring her to the mansion if she's free." Mrs. Hwang smiled at Minah and Minhyun as she left the café with her husband.

Minah sighed in relief as she slumped on the chair. "God Minhyun. You should've told me beforehand about your parents' attitudes. Your dad was scary. And what's wrong about being a café worker?"

"I'm sorry in behalf of what my dad said." Minhyun sighed as he messed his hair. "Can I still order?" Minhyun asked with a smile to ease up the tension.

"Of course..." Minah chuckled. "I'm not allowed to deny a customer here."

"Alright. One caramel frappe and tiramisu." Minhyun smiled and sat back down.

"Your order will be served in a few." Minah chirped as she skipped to the counter. She raised an eyebrow when Lime was staring at her. "Yes eonni?"

"Is it true? You and Minhyun are dating?"

"U-uhm..."

"Yes we are!" Minhyun screamed from his seat. Minah squinted her eyes and forced a smile at Lime and Minhyun. "Yes eonni. Minhyun and I are officially dating."
