Jade’s POV

Waking up on the sofa, I realise it is five past 1 in the afternoon on Saturday. I sigh, yesterday was a good night; it was a good party. Sitting up on the three – seated sofa, I stretch my legs out in front of me and under table as I reach for the remote on the table. I switch the television on and then use the sky remote for the music channels. The time shows up in the corner of the flat screen 42” television again.

Oh My God! My parents will be home in 45 minutes. I didn’t realise but they said they would be back for two o’clock from the hotel. It is now quarter past one. Oh My God, quickly tidying up the Living Room and mine and Alicia’s things, I pick up some car keys. Whose are these? Oh Goodness; they are Dylan’s. Walking through the hallway and up the stairs, I continue to Alicia’s room and go down the long hallway and walk into the room at the very end of the hallway.

Opening the white wooden door, I find Alicia and Dylan lying on top of the covers still fully clothed. They must have done the same as I did and just collapsed on the bed. Alicia is lying sideways and Dylan is lying on his back with his arm around her. I smile, this is so cute. I take a picture as I watch the slow rise and fall of their chests. When the phone makes the snapping noise which the camera makes they both jump up and I laugh.

“What the hell?” Dylan exclaims.

“Well good morning to you or afternoon as you may say. Just thought that I would let you know that Mum and Dad are going to be here in forty five minutes but don’t worry, everywhere is tidy and the dishes are done etc.”

“Okay thanks, I will just go and get changed.”

“See you in a min.” I shout back as I run down the stairs. Putting some toast in the toaster, I hear Dylan follow me.

“How are you?” He asks me whilst grabbing the kettle and filling it up.

“I am good. What about you?”

“I am great actually.” He grins widely.

“Okay,” I drag the word slowly.

“She is great.” I smile.

“Oh.” I say as the toast pops up.

“You want Coffee?” He asks me.

“Hell yes, I am so tired.” I say.

He laughs, “Same here.”

“I don’t understand why you don’t like coffee.”

“It is disgusting.”

I laugh, “Want some toast?” I ask him whilst buttering four pieces of toast; I know he will want some anyway.

“Yes please.”

“Okay.”

We do a swap and I hand him his toast and he gives me my coffee.

“Thanks,” I say as I put some more toast in for Alicia.

“So are you two good?” I ask him gesturing towards Alicia, who is upstairs … still.

He nods whilst grinning.

“You look creepy,” I tell him laughing.

He goes red, “I just really like her,” he says in the quietest voice ever.

I laugh, “Sorry what?”

“You heard,” he says going a deeper shade of red.

“You know you are like the annoying sister I never asked for,” he tells me.
