Kai's POV

Time check: 1am

I am now staring at her. We are in the cafeteria.

I have to confess to her now. I can't hide my feelings anymore.

I have to confess to her before anyone could.

"Min" I called her out.

She looked at me. "Why?"

I took a deep breathe.

"Do you wanna stroll around the hospital? We could visit the nursery" I smiled at her.

"Sure" She smiled at me.

This is it.

We stood up from our seats and started strolling around.

We went through some corridors.

The hospital during night time is really nerve-racking. It could be a nice venue for a horror movie scene.

Then she went near me and clinged her arms in my arm.

My heart starts to beat fast.

I looked at her and she was bowing down. I can feel her hands shaking. She must be scared.

It's already late and were still in the hospital. Go blame the baby for coming out late at night. Ke ke ke. Just kidding.

I held her cold hands to make it feel warm. She looked shocked and looked at me and -- smile.

I smiled at her too. I was hugging her safely in my arms. We look like a real couple.

Nurses, visitors and patients smiled at us as we look cute together maybe.

As we walk down the corridors of the gloomy hospital, we could already feel the nursery as the atmosphere lightens up.

We reached the Nursery and I can see the wide grin of Min.

We can hear the innocent cries from the fragile babies.

Then a couple went near the glass who seperates us from the babies. They smiled at us and as a greeting we smiled at them too. Maybe their baby is one of the infants inside.

The man went near us both and started talking to us.

"We see you look cute together. Good Luck. Have a peaceful Night" And with that he went off with her supposedly wife.

We shared confused gazes as we didn't know how to process his comments about us. And one thing hit me.

WE WERE STILL HOLDING EACH OTHERS HAND.

I think she noticed it too. Her face changed into a tomato and removed her hand from mine.

Silence took over the mood. 

I held her hand and dragged her into a metal chair.

I let her seat first. Then I took a deep breath.

Okay Kai. This is it. I have to be a full grown man now.

"Min" I called her out.

She looked at me.

I placed our locked hands in my chest.

"I just wanted to say that I am already in love with you. I like you since the very first day I saw you, the day that you were outside your house eating those big bag of chips. I like you because your different from the other girls. I just wonder if you feel the same way" I said and she stared at me with an unknown face.

Yikes.

"It's okay if you dont feel the same way. I know you like D.O hyung. I understand"  I lower my head.

"Kai" She called me.

"JongIn" I corrected her.

"JongIn, I really like Kyungsoo" She said. 

Ouch. 

It hurts so bad. Our feelings are not mutual.

I knew this would happen. 

I just kept my face in shame.

"But..." She started talking again.

I stared at her sparkling eyes.

"The kissing incident that happened yesterday made me realized that I did like you too" She said and blushed in full speed.

Oh Gosh. Is this all true?

So this is it.

I went nearer at her. She keeps going backward.

I kept on moving forward.

There was this time that she's on the edge of the elongated chair.

So I smirked.

I can already feel she's nervous. She gulped three times already.

I made my face nearer to her. She's turning pink.

I made this first move so I will end this KISS too.

Our faces were apart for 5 inches.

Her lips are plump.

4 inches.

She looks so pretty up close.

3 inches.

I can't wait to taste her cherry lips.

2 inches.

She did her best to stay away but you know who I am.

1 inch.

"Uhh. JongIn oppa, this is really weird" She mumbled so I turned back.

"Am I gonna be your first kiss?" I asked her. She turned pink.

"Yeah" She said in a shy manner.

I held her hand and stood up. We walked away with intertwined fingers.

Too much things happened already.
