The G word. Possibly the worst word in our language. A word that we use just about everyday, sometimes without giving it a second thought. But what happens when we say it for the last time, when we tell our best friend that we can never see each other again. We break apart inside because of those seven letters. It's somewhat of a poison. The pain lingers for a long time after the word is spoken because often we do not find that new hello for quite some time. So why must we say it, and why must we let go? We shouldn't throw love away over a simple word. But, then, a loved one passes on, and all you want to hear are those seven letters. You want closure that is unobtainable, and it kills you inside. So what is there to do? We both need and hate this word. It is romanticized for the evilness it holds. Goodbye, we will hear, again and again. And those seven letters we will forever dread.
I love and believe in you.
Stay strong. <3
