Present Day

Eve Pov:

??: Eve!

I shot my head up.

It was my boss, Dallas.

Eve: Huh?

Dallas: Your on in five minute.

I groaned softly where he couldn't here me.

I swear to god I hate this fucking place. Stripping just isn't for me. I'm just doing this so I can pay for my schooling at UCLA. Soon as graduation was over Alice and I hopped in my e46 BMW and drove to Califorina. Cleveland didn't have anything for me. I needed to better myself and what happened back there I didn't feel like dealing with that. Well I know stripring isn't bettering myself but the money is going towards it. Once I graduate, I'm going to open my very own studio. Until that happens on ill stay here, at "Paradise." 

While waiting for my name to be called I pasted around playing in my long honey blonde ponytail here.

I hear the announcer giving details on me and I head to the stage.

Colson Pov:

Slim, Dub and I are walking into this strip club and these bitches look fucking sexy.

We go to a table and sit down.

Announcer: Here she is, Lucy Diamond.

A girl in a black laced body with black red bottoms walk out.

She turns straight forward and "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix starts to play.

Her face looked so... Familiar.

Eve Pov:

I twirling and teasing, what I do best and I see this familiar face, I just don't know where I know it from.

I get closer to him, trying to to get a better look but the fog is messing up my vision.

He and his friend put a few dollars in my clothing.

The song goes off and that's the end of my set.

I walked off the stage and to the back.

I empty out the money from my clothes.

I go my locker.

I put on my white tee, acid wash jeans and black chuck Taylors.

I put the money in my Michael Kors purse.

I wrapped my hair in a messy bun and walk out.

I'm walking to the exit door but in stopped when my name is called.

??: Eve, Eve Beckett!?

I turned around to the face I said what was familiar.

I start to walk closer to the guy.

I get a better look at his face, it was Colson, Colson Baker. Well now MGK.

Eve: Colson Baker.

Colson: Oh my god, it is you!

He gave me a tight hug.

He finally let me go.

Colson: Still short as fuck!

I smashed my lips and laughed a bit.

Eve: It's not my fault, yo ass is like a fucking giant.

Colson: So how is life now?

Eve: Shity job, trying to pay for college. You?

Colson: I got signed, got a 4 year old, touring. That's just about it.

Eve: Congrats.

There was silence.

Eve: Just wish it ended better.

Colson: Just wish it didn't end at all.

Eve: Uh Colson I gotta go.

Colson: Can I have your number or something?

I thought about it.

Eve: Sure.

He handed me his phone.

I put in my number and typed in Eve with the heart emoji.

Colson: It was nice seeing you, wanna hang out soon?

Eve: Sure. Ill text you when I'm available, college and all this other shit is, woah busy.

Colson: Alright bye.

Eve: Bye.

I began go to walk back got my car.

I hit the unlock button on my car keys. I put my duffle bag in the backseat. I got in the driver seat and pulled over.

Colson Pov:

I walked back to the guys. I sat in a chair.

Colson: Y'all wont believe who I just ran into.

Slim and Dub: Who Nigga?

Colson: Eve.

Slim: Eve, Eve? The Eve that kicked yo ass out yall house after you got Heather pregnant?

Slim and Dub laughed.

I straight face them.

Colson: Yeah that Eve, anyway mufucka, I got her number.

Dub: Please don't tell me your going to try to get with her?

Of course Ima try to get back with her. She was the first girl I actually loved, and I still may be in love with her.

Slim: *Chuckles* Nigga she don't want yo ass anymore. Eve is sexy and you are just you.

Slim and Dub laughed at me once again.

Colson: Man fuck y'all!

Eve Pov:

I finally pulled up to my apartment.

I drove in the driveway and parked.

I walked out the car and locked all the doors.

I walked to my apartment and opened the door with my pair of keys.

I walk to my room and take off my clothes.

I go to the bathroom.

I run the shower for a minute and hop in.

Few days later**

I hear In Bloom by Nirvana play.

I put two and two together and I figure out its my phone ringing.

I pick up my phone and answer it.

Eve: Hello?

??: Eve?

Eve: Speaking?

??: This Colson.

Eve: Oh hi.

Colson: So what you doing?

Eve: Nothing, sitting here.

Colson: Wanna go out?

Eve: At this time of night?

Colson: Yeah. We could go to like a ocean or something. So you wanna go?

Eve: Uh sure. I'm not doing anything any way. Ill text you my adress.

Colson: Alright. See you in a minute Eve.
