3 months later:

Its a Friday and were sitting in first hour.

Mr. Bennett: Today I'm pairing you guys up for a project that must be done at home. Chose an event that happened in history, any, it could be a war, school shooting, a big murder case, any thing you would like to report on. Project included: PowerPoint or board on the subject. Slides or board must includes, Pictures, Facts, timeline, causes and effects so on and so forth. Project due Thursday and we will be presenting Friday.

The class groaned. I don't wanna get paired with a person I don't fucking know because I don't like talking and that means I have to do all the fucking work which is not what I wanna do.

Mr. Bennett: Brandon and Matthew, Kobe and Nikki, Zoey and Kim, Eve and Colson.

Everybody else names was a blur.

Colson and I were partners. We haven't spoke about that kiss that happened when we went to the movies 3 months before. Things aren't awkward between him and I but it is very different.

Mr. Bennett: Now everyone partner up and start brainstorming. I will be walking around with my clip board writing down your idea so there won't be two of the same projects.

Colson and I turned our desk around to face each other

Colson: So what are we going to do our project about?

Eve: Well I was think we could do one on columbine. I know a lot about it, I was kind of obsessed with it few years back.

Colson: Good easy A for us.

We laugh a bit.

Mr. Bennett came to us.

Mr. Bennett: Eve, Colson, idea?

Eve: Um we have choose the columbine massacre.

He writes down our topic by our names.

Mr. Bennett: I know you won't let me down Eve, your my number one student, can't wait to see how this turns out. Well let me get you guys back to brain storming.

He walked away.

Colson: So what are we suppose to do now?

Eve: Well I usually write down questions in my note book, find the answer on the Internet, and write down the answer by the question.

Colson: That sounds smart.

Eve: So where are we going to do the project at?

Colson: Uh we could do it at my house after school.

Eve: I'll tell my mom when I get home.

The bell rung, ugh 2nd hour.

End of day***

Colson and I are walking home

We reach our block and we reach my house.

Eve: I'll be right back, ill go ask my mom if I can come over to do our project.

Colson: Alright.

I ran to my door and opened it with my key.

I saw my mom standing in the kitchen.

Standing by the door I spoke.

Eve: Ma?

Eve Mom: Yea?

Eve: So for history we have a project and we had partners and I got paired up with Colson, can I go over to his house so we can do the project?

Eve Mom: Yeah sure, but I'm going out tonight so make sure you have your keys and phone on you and leave your phone with sound.
