Chapter 13

(Esmeralda's POV)

I woke up to Drew spooning me, but hey I'm not complaining. It is kinda my fault though, I "accidentally" put my arms around his chest earlier. I decided to text Steven, he must be somewhat worried.

Me : Hey
Steven : FINALLY! I was super worried! How is everything?
Me : Good. Good. Just took a nap with Drew.
Steven : In the same bed?
Me : Yeah, we cuddled for a bit
Steven : ......Cool I guess
Me : Yeah, how is everything we you and Connie?
Steven : AWESOME
Steven : Hey I have to go but I'll text you later
Me : Ok, see ya!

"Good morning." Drew said groggily.

"It's actually good afternoon, we have been sleeping for a couple on hours now." I said. "I'm gonna make some pancakes, you want some?"

"ARE YOU KIDDING ITS THE BEST FOOD EVER!" Drew exclaimed.

I cupped my hands around Drew's face. "I think I finally found my soul mate."

Drew smirked. I blushed. Our gems lit and we fused.

"Hey you two wake up already-" Jade said entering the room, "Damn Drew! You do know who to fuse with. Topaz come and see this!"

Topaz walked into the room. "Awww Drew's first fusion!" We blushed and unfused.

"Uh I'm going to make some pancakes." I said walking towards the kitchen.

"Drew you need to tell us what happened since we got home." I heard Topaz say.

After eating 2 or 3 pancakes Topaz and Jade came out of Drew's room wiggling their eyebrows at me.

"Guys can you please just leave her alone." Drew said in an irritated tone.

"Hey Drew Drew." I had made special pancakes for Drew, they had chocolate chips and Ds. When I handed him the pancakes it seemed as if all the irritation had melted away.

"You guys want some?" I asked Hippie and Jade.

"Nope, we're good." They said in unison. At this point they were grinning from ear to ear.

"She's a keeper." Jade said nudging Drew.

"Esme can I talk to you in private?" Drew asked.

"Sure." I replied.

"So uh it was this or the guys telling you," Drew said once we reached the roof "Esme...I like you...I like you a lot."
