"so what happened? did you talk about it?" jace asked. the threesome had come together around noon with jace bringing exciting news which he had yet to reveal.
"no. we just talked about which uni's we were attending and we exchanged i like you's again."
"i don't understand why you do that." bree huffed, "why don't you just say i love you when you already admitted it?"
vienna shrugged, "i guess we're just trying to go slow whilst reminding eachother of our feelings."
jace and bree rolled their eyes, "so tell me young jason," bree started, "what is your exciting news?"
"well, i got accepted." he grinned.
"into where? i didn't even realise you were applying." vienna frowned.
"accepted? you're leaving me too?" bree breathed out.
jason looks at his two favourite girls and sighed, wrapping his arms around their shoulders. "yes, i got accepted into university and yes, i'm sadly leaving you bree. but nothing's going to change! if vienna can do it, so can i."
"i—i just didn't think i'd be alone during sixth form, i didn't think you'd be going so early jace. i just thought we'd go together, i thought that about all of us."
"oh bree, i didn't know you felt that way. i would've—i would've stayed if you'd asked me to." vienna grabbed bree's hands over jace and laced their hands together, leaning into jace.
"no, no! i don't want you to stay here when you've got durham waiting for you."
"i'll visit as much i can."
"same here," jace interjected, "it's not like i'm leaving to go across the world, i'm only going to leeds. of course i'd come back for one of my favourite girlies." he pulled her closer and smiled.
"leeds? finn and dylan are going there."
jason clapped and grinned, "ah, two more people to torment."
"oh my god guys." bree sniffled, "i love you both so much and i'm so glad we all met all those years ago back in primary school. i'm so glad you stole my drink jace and i'm so glad you swapped our sandwiches vienna. i'm so glad you felt comfortable enough to tell us you were gay jason and oh, i'm so glad i had both of you's when it came to that stupid jimmy boy, back in year 6. i'm just—i'm just so glad guys." tears were sliding down bree's cheeks and some were filling up jace and vienna's eyes.
"we love you too bree-bear."
"so so much sweetheart." jace whispered.
