they sat in a comfortable silence, listening to the comforting sounds of the indie rock music finn had put on. vienna was extremely excited for her date with the boy to her right but she was also curious as to where he would be taking her. she was also impressed since he must have done some research or asked christine on good places to go, since he wasn't familiar with her hometown. she was glad he had put some effort into it.

finn was beyond glad vienna even accepted his request on going on a date with him. he thought the girl was way out of his reach and it may have been a bit harder to get her to say yes. he thought this was too easy. but he was happy, happy to have a gorgeous girl by his side and happy to be able to make her happy; this made him even more happy.

they reached a red light on their way to their date. "excited little one?"

"little one huh?" vienna said, failing to hide her smile, "and of course i am mr davies."

"you should be miss morels." finn smirked, "you'll enjoy every single second of it."

she sighed and her smile faltered, "i hope you're right."

finn looked at her closely as the green light came on and he looked back towards the road and continued to drive. "hey, you ok?"

"of course i am." vienna simply replied.

what was wrong? was it something i said? finn thought.

he nodded and went back to quietly singing the tune to naive by the kooks.

vienna looked at the boy to her right, "you're a good singer."

finn chuckled, "i wouldn't think so but thank you."

"no! you are, you've got a softness to your voice and it's quite soothing to be honest." her eyes widened as she realised what she had just said, "oh no, i'm sorry. that sounded so weird." vienna said as she covered her face and shook her head, bowing down a little.

finn took his hand which was currently on the gear stick, and placed it on vienna's hair and stroked it. "it's ok little one, it's nice to know someone appreciates me."

she lifted her head slightly causing his hand to fall back to gear stick, she enjoyed that he had shown enough affection towards her to perform that small act. "i'll always appreciate you finn."

he smiled at her as they approached their destination, "and i'm grateful for that vienna."

vienna sat up in her seat as finn drove into a wooded carpark and furrowed her eyebrows. "where are we? how long have we been driving for?"

"for about 30 minutes or so."

"you didn't say where we were." she quirked an eyebrow.

he opened his door, "you'll see. now, stay here."

she furrowed her eyebrows as she watched they boy get out and rush over to her side and open her door, "why do you have to be such a gentleman?" she laughed.
