Practice

I've always been very talented in the musical department, I play guitar, sing, and dance. I can play a few other instruments as well, but I am most skilled with a guitar, though that's not what I got cast into Panic! At the Disco for, I was hired to sing (backup) and dance, those two talents are the only ones that I Show to people, the only person who knows that I play guitar is my best friend, Melanie. She found out on accident, I didn't even plan on telling her.

I sighed, looking down at the multiple slips of paper in my hands, all of the dates of practices and performances. There's practice tomorrow, at least this pays a lot. I'm pretty poor, I moved out from my parents house when I was 16 due to some family issues, I lived in an apartment under their name, of course, however I was left to work for food and anything else that I needed. I'm 19 now. (Ryan's 21) I have worked at the coffee shop down the road from my apartment since moving out, I got the job easily since i'm friends with the owner. I ran my fingers through my hair, walking over to my closet to pick out my clothes for tomorrow, i'm allowed to wear whatever I want at practice but performances were different. I scanned through my closet, eventually finding black leggings, a striped black and white turtleneck crop top, a black hoodie, and white flats. Perfect for dancing. I spread everything out on the counter top of my small dresser. It was around 7 P.M. so I had a little while until I needed to sleep. Dancers need lots of sleep, so I normally go to sleep around 10. I glanced around my small apartment, searching for something to do. The phone placed sloppily on the bed caught my eye, I flopped onto the bed, grabbing my phone in the process. Time to do some research on Panic! At The Disco. Apparently there are 4 members, Brendon Urie, the singer, Spencer Smith, the drummer, Jon Walker, guitar, Ryan Ross, songwriter, guitarist, backup vocalist. Damn, Ryan does a lot of things. I clicked on his name and before I knew it, I was scrolling through pics of him, there were lots with him wearing really cool facepaint, I assumed that a makeup artist did it, until I found a video of him doing it himself. I was impressed, I do my makeup everyday and I still can't do it that well. After about 2 hours of research on all of the members, I decided to go to sleep.

I awoke to sunshine warming my face, I looked to the clock on my bed, 8:07. Okay, practice is at 9:45, I still have awhile. I got up, stretching and walking over to the kitchen. I inserted a slice of bread into the toaster, while waiting for that I poured orange juice into a plastic cup. I heard the slight pop as the bread was done toasting, I reached over and placed the toast on a glass plate. I sat down at the small sofa and ate my food, when I was finished I put my dishes in the sink, telling myself i'll do them later. I walked into my bedroom, picking up the clothes off of the dresser and swiftly got dressed. I did my hair and makeup as well before gathering my things and heading out.

I parked my car, taking out the keys. I opened the car door, got out and slammed it closed again. I took in a deep breath, trying to dismiss the anxiety-lump forming in my throat. I walked up to the building that the practice was being held in, and pulled the door open, revealing the men I had researched earlier, some other female dancers, and other choreographers and parts of the team. I waved my hand to everyone and put up my hood before walking to the other dancers. It was weird to think that I was in a room with 4 celebrities, I started stretching along with the other girls.

"It's your first time working with celebs, huh?" One of the dancers asked.

"Heh, Yeah... I'm (F/N) by the way." I said, holding out my hand for her to shake.

"Oh, you're (F/N)? So you're the singer?"

"Yeah, what's your name?"

"Oh, right! I'm Sarah."

"Cool."

"Which one do you think is the hottest?"

"Umm, Excuse me?"

"I think Brendon's the hottest." She ignored my previous question.

"If I had to choose, Ryan."

"Hmm, He's okay."

"Yeah."  I glanced at Ryan, only to see him looking at me, we made eye-contact for at least 7 seconds.

"Excuse me everyone! Today we will be working on the first song, and remember, It's okay if you don't get it right away!" One of the choreographers shouted.

We spent hours dancing, eventually practice was over. I sat down on the cool, wooden floor, grabbing my bag for water and a towel, chugging the water and wiping my face with the towel. Most of the dancers had left, leaving me, the boys, choreographers, and Sarah. Sarah left, just as I was about to leave, the boys stopped me.

"You're the singer, right?" Brendon asked.

"Yep."

"You have extra practices with us, you know that, right?" Ryan asked.

"Yep. Can I leave now?" I gave puppy dog eyes, talking to them was giving me major anxiety. I needed to get away before I have a panic attack.

"Oh, uh yeah... Sure." Ryan moved out of my way. I walked out, looking for my car. Shit! I think my car got towed, I sat down on the curb, Scrolling through my contacts for someone that I call. Melanie? No, she's at the doctors. Tyler? No, him and Josh are on a date. Ashley? No, she's getting her hair done. Ronnie? No, he's getting more tattoos. Hayley? No, she's with Ashley. I let a sigh escape my lips, I don't have money to get a cab or uber. What am I going to do?

A/N: I wrote this awhile ago so it has all of the original members. Thanks for reading, bye!
