*excuse the change in tense, Jani refused to change it, thank you!*

I had met all the crew and Erza showed me to the girls' sleeping area. All the girls on this ship had to share a room, though there were only six of us so it wasn't bad. Apparently, another girl had been on this ship before me but had ended up being moved to be with her boyfriend, so they had an extra hammock bed for me.
Erza had given me garments, and only then did I realize I had still been wearing my elaborate wedding gown.
Probably why Natsu had called me princess.
She had given me a baggy white shirt, a pair of black pants(to which I shoved the shirt inside), and black boots.
I had met Levy, Juvia, Mira, Gajeel, and Carla- who was a cat like Happy. I found out they are called exceeds and are basically cats that can talk and fly.
I got my Fairy Tail pirate's mark on my hand in pink and was happier than I've ever been.
The day went on fine and now I'm out at the front of the boat.
I'm sitting down and looking at the ocean and honestly, I'm missing home.
Not my father, but the servants and people.
I had him, but I haven't seen him since I was around five or six years old.
He promised to come back and save me from my dad, but never did. He broke our promise.
I also had Jade, my best friend.
We were friends since we were little and I regret leaving her.
I began to cry.
I cried and cried and cried.
"I'm sorry Jade" I whispered.
She had the same problem I did.
Her father didn't love her, so we gave each other love. And now she's alone because of me.
"Jade, forgive me" I cried and felt tears soak my sleeves.
"Hey......" a voice trailed.
I continued to cry.
The person walked closer and sat next to me, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, you ok?" He asked.
I sniffled and wiped my tears, looking up at him.
"Ya, i'm fine Natsu" I responded and tried to stop more tears as I thought about Jade.
"You don't look ok. What's wrong?" He asked again.
"Well, it's just.......I left someone very important to me back home. I left them all alone and now they have nobody. We were both unloved by our parents, so we gave each other love, but I left her." I cried and he sighed, hugging me and taking me by surprise.
"It's not your fault Luce, I'm sure whoever she is would be happy that you've found somewhere that you're happy." He said and I blushed a little at the nickname-it seemed farmiliar-but I ultimately ended up crying into his shoulder, soaking his shirt.
He calmed me down and I eventually fell asleep in his arms.

"Huh? she's asleep. That's cute" I said and smiled a little, picking her up and heading for my cabin.
Because I was the captain I had my own captain's quarters. I don't know what compelled me to take her there, but I had the urge to, so I did.
I layed her down on one side of my bed and then layed on the other side.
I looked at her face and took in all the details.
Her hair was still a beautiful golden blonde and her eyes were a perfect chocolate color.
Her personality still hadn't changed, which was good.
"I know how you feel. I'm sorry for leaving you, but at least I didn't break our promise." I whispered.
I sighed and rolled over so my back was facing her.
I never thought I'd see you again.
