Chapter 13: Date

There was a knock at the door and my head snapped up.
Natsu entered the woman's quarters and waved awkwardly.
"Hey Lucy, we're back at the island." He informed me and I nodded.
I walked up to him and he held the door for me. I giggled at him and we got off the ship together.
"Hey Luce." He started as we walked towards my house.
"What's up Natsu?" I asked.
"You wanna go do something tonight?" He asked with a small tint of pink covering his cheeks.
I blushed a deep red and my breath hitched.
"L-like a date?" I squeaked.
"Sure i guess" he said.
It got quiet for a second but I finally got the courage to say my answer.
"Uh, sure." I said and I saw Natsu'a eyes start to sparkle.
"Ok cool. I'll pick you up at 7:00 tonight." He said as we reached my house.
He waved as he ran away from my house and towards his and I waved towards him awkwardly.
When he was out of sight I let out a dreamy sigh and immediately ran inside to find an outfit

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled at my outfit choice.(Media)
I heard a knock at my door and basically ran for my door.
I opened it and saw a very handsome looking Natsu at my door. He had on a vest, a black shirt, some simple jeans, and his hair was still as uncombed as ever.(Media)
He smiled and I walked out of my house and smiled back at him.  I saw that it was nighttime and the moon looked beautiful as ever.
"Ready Luce?" He asked and snapped me out of my thoughts.
I nodded and he unwrapped his scarf.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Where we are going is a surprise, so you have to be blindfolded." He said as he walked around me and the scarf went over my eyes.
I then heard him walk back around me and something warm in my hand.
He held my hand gently as he began guiding me around.
I blushed and held his hand back.
I started to hear the sounds of crashing waves as we walked and smelled the salt in the sea air.
Suddenly we stopped and unfortunately he let go of my hand.
"Ok, Luce, we are here." He said from behind me and placed his hands on my shoulders.
I shivered when his hands touched my shoulders but jumped a little in excitement.
He chuckled and then the scarf came off my eyes.
I gasped at the sight in front of me.
We were on a dock and at the edge was a table and two chairs. Candles were lit around the dock making the surrounding water glow and the table was set with food.

"Natsu, did you do all this?" I asked.
He smiled and shrugged.
"I may have had a little help from the crew." He said and I giggled at him.
He led me to the table and held a chair out. I sat down and he pushed it in for me and then we sat down and began to eat.

After we ate Natsu led me back towards the beach. There were so many stars and I kept pointing out constellations for him. Natsu would ask me questions about the stars and space and we really didn't consider the fact that we were walking on the beach and holding hands.

Suddenly Natsu saw something and started leading me towards a SUPER secluded part of the beach.
There was a large patch of grass and it was covered in a bunch of flowers.
We layed down and continued to star gaze.
I started to get tired and unconsciously leaned my head on his shoulder. I began drifting to sleep and I felt Natsu wrap his arms around me.
