if you guys see notifications for the first book, don't worry about it haha. I'm fixing the book and making it more mature <3 also - check chapter one on this book for the new face claim!

Jack knocked on the door and when I open it I gave him a hug. "Hey Kristy, How have you been." I giggled while he gave me bear hug.

"Well, you know," I laughed. "What about you?" He shrugged once he let go.

"Everything with Madison is just, I don't know, annoying." He smiled and I led him to the kitchen to greet Cameron and Nash. Both of them giving him a dap. They caught up and said goodbye as we walked to the door. "Where's Hayes?" he asked, and I groaned.

I texted Hayes to come meet Jack and, shortly after, him and Katia came down the stairs. "Jack," he smiled. "What's good?" He, also giving him a dap, asked him how he's been and they talked for awhile. As we were about to head out, Katia cleared her throat and nudged Hayes' shoulder.

"Oh, this is Katia, we've been talking for awhile." Jack gave a half smile and nodded his head at her.

"I've followed you on vine for awhile, you're music is so good!" she seem like she was about to have a mini fangirl attack, he thanked her and we left.

He opened the passenger door for me and I smiled, and thanked him. Once he got in the drivers seat, I turned the aux cord on. I plugged my phone in and turned on Too many years by Kodak, then went on snapchat. I took a picture of Jack smiling while looking at the road and I posted it.

It was my first post on snapchat since I stopped using it, so I'm sure some people will be confused. We made small talk, then I brought up the main question. "So what happened with Madison?" I asked as we made our way to Studio City.

"Man, I don't know. She was just doing shit behind my back and my friends were telling me shit, showing me pictures of her with other people." He sighed and I frowned. I, then, smiled faintly and pushed on his shoulders lightly.

"Princess Kristy is here to save the day." I laughed. "Wanna do a q & a on my snapchat while we drive?" He nodded and I posted that they should ask us questions. 

After a few minutes we got a few questions.

"Like a year, maybe." He said, looking off the road and right back on.  I nodded and giggled while watching him in the camera. 

what happened to hayes and madison

"Nothing happened to them?" I questioned and he rolled his eyes playfully.

"They out here, with new hoes, forgetting bout us." He joked as I threw my head back in a fit of laughter.

why were you m.i.a for so long

"I was just really sick, though I'm better now!"

"Yeah, we've been talking for three months and we're celebrating our anniversary on saturday, even though we're just talking, not dating." Jack mimicked the conversation I heard between Hayes and Katia. I punched his shoulder lightly.

"He's kidding, we aren't dating. I don't date rats." I smiled as he gave me a look and the snap ended. We did a few more and we eventually made it to Take a Bao.  I wound up putting up a black screen saying that we weren't throwing shade at anyone because I don't need the drama.

As I was getting my stuff together he walked to my side of the car and opened the door. I thanked him again, and I looked up at him, commenting on how short I was. We walked into the restaurant and checked into our reservation. 

Once we sat down and order we had a lot of time to talk. "Do you see yourself getting back together with Madison?" I asked and he shrugged.

"We've broken up before in the past, but I'm just over it this time. Last time it was because of stupid stuff, I don't put up with cheating."

"That's good, yeah, that's really good. Nobody should put up with stuff like that."

He smiled at me and nodded. "How do you feel about Katia?" he asked and I rolled my eyes.

"To be honest, she seems like a good person but I mean, that whole conversation I heard, I don't even know if he likes her. Sure, I'm always gonna like Hayes, but I think I'm ready to move on."  He nodded and our food came.

"Are you sure you're okay with eating, after what happened."

I nodded and thanked him for caring. Eating felt fine and I had no reaction afterwards and it felt great.

I began noticing little things, like how we could always have a conversation going. I noticed the little features and habits that I was surely coming to adore.

We finished dinner a little early and the sunset looked beautiful. "its only 6:30, I know this really pretty place where the sun set will show." He chimed, asking if I wanted to go.

"Let's do it."

It took about 30 minutes to get there and we parked at the top. We got out and he led me to this clearing. We sat down and our feet dangled off the edge of the mini - cliff. It felt nice to have sweet conversations and trust someone. It's something that I'm not used to.

After sitting in a comfortable silence, just watching the sky, Jack turned to me. "How many people have told you how beautiful you are?" He asked while looking at me. I looked up at him and then back to the sky.

I blushed with a small giggle. "A few people, I guess."

"Add me onto that list." The remaining sunlight brought out his features, like how his skin tone clashes perfectly with his eyes, his jaw line, and the way his top lip is just a little bigger than his bottom lip.

I turned my head and made eye contact with him, smiling. I moved in and rested my head on his shoulder and let out sigh of happiness. "Can I put a filter on you?" I giggled softly as I grabbed my phone, which was playing music.  He groaned but gave in.

I put on the flower crown filter and I started the video off on me, I quickly moved to Jack who laughed and posed. He pulled out his phone and went on snap. He began recording with no filter. "Damnn." He called out jokingly as he pointed the camera at me. I covered my face with my hands and laughed.

He posted his video and I rolled my eyes. I stood up, then went to the car to get a water bottle, grabbing one for Jack in case he wanted one. When I walked back over he spread his legs so I could sit in between them.

I leaned back into his chest while he wrapped his arms around my waist. A few moments pass and I turned halfway to look at him. He looked down at me, without control we started to lean in.

Our lips met and neither one of us could help smiling. I place my small hand on his cheek and smiled wide once I pulled away.  A grin, just as large, grew on his face as he pecked my lips once more.

I giggled as I turned back around to look at the finishing sunset. Jack wrapped his arms a little further in addition to me leaning back once more.

"Well, I don't know how you did it, Gilinsky," I smiled while he latched our fingers. "But you managed to steal me in one day."
