CHAPTER 4: WISH

"Oppa, why are you here?" I asked him with full curiosity and disbelief.

How...?

What is he doing here?  It's not like I don't want him to be here. Just, how?

"Why? You don't want me to be here?" He stared at me causing my heart to stumble.

Kim Yana, keep your head straight!

"I doubt it. Of course, I want you to be here... " I even wished for it. "...I'm happy I'm with you right now."

I avoided his gaze after saying it.

So cheesy. What the hell am I doing?!

But it's true.

"Don't be shy. I should be. You made my heart beat faster."

I immediately look at him with wide eyes. Did I hear it right?

"W-What did y-you s-say?"I asked him while stuttering.

My heart is going wild and my mind is buffering!!!

"You made my heart beat faster." He said to me while looking straight at my eyes.

What the...? I can't believe this!!! But, what if...?

"Is that a fan service?" Maybe, it is. I'm their fan anyway.T_T

"No." He answered simply.

Oh my God!

Then...  what does he mean by that?! Why? How...?

"As for your question earlier, I came here because someone wants me to be here." He said ignoring my face with pure disbelief.

"Someone is waiting for me. And, I'm right." He stared straight to my eyes and soul again so I tried avoiding it. He might see how crazy my soul is for him.

"I... I thought you will not come. It's... It's not on your... plan though... " I said while struggling with my words but he didn't pay attention to it.

He removed his mask and said the words that made my heart go crazy again.

"I also want to meet you again." Then he smiled.

My heart punched my ribs hardly. My mind stopped working. My soul... where did it go?

I am completely stunned.

Lee Taeyong wants to meet me!!!

My mouth opened to say something but I closed it again cause I forgot what will I say.

"Let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started walking.

Damn!

I'm falling deeper! This is dangerous!

"This is dangerous." I unconsciously said while we are walking.

I wanna hit myself for saying it aloud! Pabo! (Stupid!)

"What's dangerous? The road? I will protect you, don't worry."
He said and he grabbed me closer to him while still holding my hand.

I'm falling deeper.

"It's not what I meant." I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked innocently. He is really a cute guy trapped in a tough guy's body. He's so cute!

I stared at him while he stared at me also. We already stopped walking.

I can't believe that this is really happening.

"It's dangerous. I'm falling deeper." I said while staring at the most handsome face my eyes ever laid on.

"Just fall. Don't stop yourself." He said seriously.

"But no one will catch me."

He will not be there to catch me.

"No one will. Because, I'm also falling." He said staring directly to my eyes.

He's falling? To whom? To me? Really? Am I dreaming?

He smiled and continued to walk again with my hands on his coat's pocket.

This is more than what I wished but I'm happy that it's happening right now.

"I hope this road won't end." I said sincerely. I really love this feeling right now.

My hands being held by his. Us, walking together.

"Should we stop walking?" He really stopped and turned to me.

"I really want to walk with you forever." I said without looking at him.

"You made my heart beat faster again."

I looked at him and pouted.

I am doubting if what he said is true. Is it just a fan service?

"Don't pout. You're too cute." He said and he pinched my cheeks.

"Aishh, Oppa, are you just doing  fan service?" I asked him again.

How can he let me hope that this is not a fan service? What else could this be?

"No. I'm spending time with you." He answered innocently.

He's acting cute again.

"Spending? Not wasting? You should be resting by now. I know you are tired from work." I said.

I realized how much I bothered him already. I'm so selfish.

"I like what I'm doing right now. You don't want me to be here?" He said. He sounded like a kid throwing tantrums. Why is he so cute?

"Of course, I want to be with you. I even wished for it but, am I not bothering you?" I'm feeling guilty right now.

He must be tired.

"You are not bothering me. You are not a nuisance. I want what I'm doing right now and this is not a fan service." He said. I guess he wants to end every doubt I have right now but it seems like, he can't.

"Then, what is this?"

Why are you making me fall for you deeper?

"Fulfilling your wish." He said. My wish. He's fulfilling it. Should I feel glad? Or hurt? It's only my wish.

"We're already here. Sorry, I didn't fulfill your wish. To make this road endless."

"It's okay. Being with you is enough." I smiled genuinely to show him how happy I am to be with him.

I don't know if being with me is also enough for you though.

"Oppa, I have another wish." I told him.

"What is it?" He asked attentively.

"Can you tell me that this is not a dream?" I told him. I just really need an assurance.

He stared at me for a while. He stayed silent with a small smile on his face. Suddenly, he walked closer to me.

He drew closer to me until I felt his lips touched my forehead.

My heart skipped a beat and raced to it's fastest pace.

He stared at me. Damn.

He is too close. I can't calm.

"Nothing is impossible. Your wish will soon come true." He said, instead. He's not going to grant my wish?

It's just simple though. He will just tell me that this is real and it's done!

Why? Are all of this not true?

But, I can clearly see him! He even kissed me in the forehead! I felt it!

"Get inside now. I'll go. Good night." For the last time in this night, he smiled at me.

He waved goodbye and left me, still confused by what he said.

He didn't fulfill what I told him but he's here. Granting what I firstly wished.
