Joey's POV:

Joey: Where are we? Exactly...?

I looked over at Shane's overly-excited smile! I loved his teeth! We were in a parking lot to.. a ..

Shane: The mall!

Joey: The Mall? Really?

Shane: Yeah! Chicks are FLOODING the mall now these days, people even come here on dates... they need lives.

Joey: I'm coming here to LOOK for a date! Gawsshh, but how do we expect to find someone?

Shane: YOU are going to work your charm. ;)

Joey: Shane! I can't do this without you! And this all was your idea!

Shane: Just kidding, I'll help. Well let's go look around and see if you can work up a conversation with a lucky ladyyy! ;) Very lucky!

Shane said as he bolted out of his car. I still sat there with shock and hope as Shane swiftly opened my door for me.

Joey: Thanks

I said as I jumped out of the car.

Shane: Come on!

He exclaimed, as he pulled my arm across the parking lot and into the entrance.

Joey: I don't know about this, Shane...

Shane: Joey,

He stopped me in the middle of the walkway inside, staring me down. He continued:

Shane: Joey, why are you so nervous? You always act nervous and lately, it's even more! Joey, you don't have to be nervous, okay? You are the hottest guy I've ever laid my eyes on, and I mean that in the most least awkward way possible, but it's true. You don't have to be so shy! Trust me, it'll work out. If you really don't wanna do this anymore, just tell me. But you'll find someone. Someone who brightens your day every time you see them. They make you smile and you're filled with butterflies every time they touch you. Don't worry. I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy, okay? I really mean that.

Dang, Shane was powerful. I never really understood him that well, but now I do.

Joey: Thanks Shane. That means a lot. I mean, I just get nervous a lot and I don't think Im good enough, I guess... I don't really know. But I do know that Ill give this a try. I really hope to feel that with someone one day. Thank You Shane!

I smiled really big as Shane pulled me closer to him into a hug and I grasped on tightly. Soon, Shane started to let go, but I kept holding on. It was a long hug, I just couldn't let go. I wouldn't. I needed Shane. Oh, I hope he's right! Soon I managed to release him from the hug, leaving him stunned. People were awkwardly starring at us, then continued to walk away. Uh.... Okay?

Shane: You okay?

He asked politely.

Joey: Yeah, come on!

I pulled him towards the food court.

Shane's POV:

Man, Joey seems nervous and I hope he's feeling better than he was earlier. I really hope this works out for him. Im wondering why this relationship situation is kind of a problem in his life. It seems like he avoids it. Why?

*** Joey and I met a few girls and Joey actually got a couple of numbers. I watched from a distance and dang, Joey knew how to charm up a girl! How has he not done this before? I was shocked, but glad at the same time! I was sitting at a table in the distance on my phone when Joey walked over to me. His expression was neutral.***

Shane: So? What happened?

Joey: I met quite a few girls, had conversations with most of them, and got a few numbers!

Shane: What's wrong though, you seem down. Why? Isn't this what you want? We found you a start Joey!

Joey: Well, I don't know what's wrong, honestly. Out of all the girls I've seen today, and I've seen a lot... Each one didn't appeal to me. I mean they're all really pretty and nice, just none really stood out to me and now I don't know what to do. Shane, I'm trying! I really am trying! Its just hard. I don't feel anything towards them at all. I'm worried now. I probably won't find anyone. Sorry Shane. Thanks for trying.

I looked at Shane.

Shane: Really? None of the, really appealed to you? Joey, maybe... uh....

Joey: Maybe what?

Shane: Well there were a lot of girls today, who were all stunning!

Joey: And???

Shane: I mean, you didn't even like any of them?

Joey: Not like that.

Shane: Well, maybe,.. Um

Joey: What?

Shane: Don't get me wrong here, but maybe, may- maybe girls aren't really you're interest you should be involved with...?

Joey: What?

Shane: Seriously, I mean, maybe that's why you haven't been in a relationship really. Are you-

Joey: Shane, I'm not confused about anything. And I'm definitely not confused about my sexuality. I like girls, just, not THESE ones.

Shane: Joey, I'm sorry for bringing it up, but have you ever thought about it though?

Joey:...

Shane: Dating men? Maybe?

Joey: Shane, no... I mean, I don't know.

Shane: Ohhh...

Joey: But I'm not gay Shane, seriously. I just don't think I've found the right person yet.

Shane: Look, Im sorry. I was just curious because I was starting to be skeptical of your relationship.

Joey: No, it's fine. I mean it makes sense, what you're saying, but that's not the reason :P

Shane: Okay, so do you wanna keep looking? Or?

Joey: I think I've had enough for a day. We should head home, maybe start Part 2 Later? Haa!

I GRINNED.

Shane: Sure, not a problem! Let's get outta here. I'm kind of claustrophobic and it gets me freaking out.

Joey: Thanks.

Joey and I headed out of the Mall and into my car.

Joey: Well, that was pretty fun, But weird and awkward!

Shane: You got that right!

Joey opened the doors and we went inside the shiny car. We got in and I thought about Valentine's Day. We drove home in silence and headed back to my place again.
