Chapter 3 - Phan

Dan: Phil, tell me you didn't drop the baby !
Phil: I didn't drop the baby ! He didn't fall !
Dan: Then what was that sound ?

Dan enters in the living room and sees Dil on the sofa, Phil sits on the ground.

Phil: I fell.

Dan starts laughing and helps his friend to gets up. It's been two weeks and a half since Dil appeared in the youtubers' lives. Each took new habits, including Dil in them. They now totally redecorate the office to transform it into a baby's room. They bought everything they need to take care of a baby, deserving of the outfit of the perfect parents.
They live a new life, but only between their apartment's walls. Because the two youtubers are still afraid to tell the world the truth. Tell their fans they have a baby together. But they recently plained to do it soon, after that pictures of Phil and Dil outside made the internet crazy. But the two boys didn't found a good story yet to explain the fact that they have together a child with the exact same name than a sim they created.

Phil: We can just say he's one of us' son
Dan: What ?
Phil: You were thinking out loud. We can say he's your son or mine and the mother leaved.
Dan: That will not explain why he's legally OUR son. And I don't really want to lie to our fans.
Phil: I know but we can't just tell the truth.
Dan: We can still make it sound like a joke. And tell a believable story then.
Phil: Yeah, but don't be sick because of it.
Dan: But people are gonna talk...
Phil: Dan, we don't care about the others. For now, it's just you, me and Dil.
Dan: A really strange family.
Phil: We are not normal people so !

The two boys laugh together and look at Dil, still on the sofa. Dan take him in his arms and say silly words to him so he can ear his baby laugh.

Phil: We can say we adopted him cause his mom was one of our friend.
Dan: There are fictions about us like that.
Phil: Then that will make people happy.
Dan: Especially the Phans !
Phil: Yeah ! But we'll see when we'll have to tell them.
Dan: That'll be soon. They all want to know who was that baby you were with.
Phil: It's gonna be fine.

Phil gently stroke Dil's hair before he slides his hand on Dan's arm and take his hand. Dan hold it tight before Phil let go and sits in the sofa. Dan take a little dinosaur toy and sits next to Phil. The two friends play with the baby without seeing the time spend.

The next day, Phil decide to spend the day with his parents to finally tell them about Dil, using the story they made up. Dan is still at home with Dil, to give time to Phil's parents. The youtuber take a bottle and starts looking after baby milk. But it is nowhere to be found. Swearing after how messy Phil is, Dan take a jacket and Dil's coat.

Dan: Alright Dilly, guess we're gonna have to do some groceries.

Dan dress him up and get out of the apartment. To be sure to not see anyone, Dan decide to walk to the little grocery store next his street. He puts Dil in the card's sit and walks quickly in the store.

Dan: Dil, I'm begging you, stay calm. We just take a few things and we go home.

But the child doesn't understand why his lunch time is reported and starts crying. Dan tries to calm him down by talking to him while putting what he needs in the card. But after a few minutes, he looses his patience and stops to take the baby in his arms. Against Dan's chest, Dil starts to calm down.

Dan: Really ? If you wanted a hug, you just had to tell me.

Dan smile at the child when a girl jump in front of him.

Girl: Oh my gosh ! Dan !
Dan: Hi.
Girl: I'm so happy to meet you ! I'm Josie, I'm a big fan and... Oh, who's this little one ?
Dan: It's a friend's son...
Josie: What's his name ?
Dan: Dil...an. Dylan. Dil.
Josie: Is that the same baby that was with Phil ?
Dan: Yes...
Josie: Are you gonna do videos soon ? It's been three weeks...
Dan: Yeah, soon. We were just... Busy.
Josie: Okay. Can we take a picture ?

The girl take her phone. Dan smiles, Dil in his arms. The teenage girl thanks Dan, says goodbye to Dil and go back with her mom. Dan sighs and looks down at Dil.

Dan: Well, I think the world is gonna know you sooner then.

At first I wanted Dan and Phil to stay friends but who am I kidding ? So wait for it they won't stay friends long if you know what I mean xD
