"This is it." you said to yourself out loud while looking in the mirror. This was the day you were going to marry you're one true love, your best friend, your soul mate.
"I can't believe it's finally happening. I'm so happy for you." Your best friend said, she was helping you get ready.
Everything was going perfectly, you're hair was half up with soft curls flowing down your back and a pin to hold it in place. Your make up was natural, but still noticeable. You had never loved your make up so much it really showed your natural beauty. And your dress, oh your dress. It was the perfect dress. It was a sweetheart neckline, perfectly fitted, mermaid gown, with a train. Everything was just completely perfect.
You finished getting ready and just looked at yourself in the mirror.
"You ready to get married?" You turned to look at your dad. "You look beautiful."
"Yeah, I'm ready. Thanks dad. I don't know I'd do without you."
"Ok, let's get you married then." Your dad answered hooking his arm to yours.

"I can't believe this is happening." Your dad sighed before beginning to walk you down the aisle.
"Me neither." You answered quietly to yourself.
Your family and friends were there and everyone had their eyes on you, but you just couldn't stop looking at one person. The person you were marrying. There he was, standing perfectly in his suit looking just unbelievably perfect. You just couldn't look away. He was looking at you too, and when you finally got to the alter he mouthed "I Love You" like he always did when people were around.
"I love you too, Carlos." You mouthed back before the ceremony officially began.
You knew you should be paying attention to everything that was going on, but you couldn't help yourself and you started thinking about the memories you and Carlos had.

~Flashback~
"Mom, why did we have to move away?" You asked looking out the car window to the new house you were now calling yours.
"Because (Y/N) your dad got a new job in this town and it was too far for him to drive everywhere so we had to move."
You were only eight, but you were going to miss everything from your old home. You didn't think anything could ever come close to the feeling of your old house or to the friends.
"Come on sweetie you have to get out of the car and get your stuff." Your dad stated opening the car door for you.
You jumped out of the car and just stood on the sidewalk looking at the new house.
You felt someone run into you and the next thing you knew you were on the ground. "Well that's just great" you thought.
"I am so sorry," you heard a boy say and you didn't realize that he had fallen next to you. He quickly scrambled to get up and then stretched his arm out to help you, "here let me help you up."
You took his hand and lazily got up. You didn't even like this move, you'd rather have stayed on the ground, but you didn't want to be rude.
"Are you ok? Did I hurt you?" the boy asked with a worried look. Oh, he really thought he hurt you and here you were not saying anything.
"Yeah, I'm ok. Just...." you took a deep breath, "well I just moved and I miss everything from my old house."
"Oh, well welcome to the neighborhood then. You'll like it here. It's fun and there's a lot of kids you can hang out with." The boy held his arms out toward the street as if to reveal a masterpiece. There were a few kids your age here and there just hanging out.
"Thanks, but I'm not sure if I want new friends yet. I'm (Y/N) by the way."
"Well (Y/N), that's too bad, because you already have a new friend." The boy held his hand out to shake yours, "I'm Carlos."
~End of Flashback~

It had been so long since that move, since that first time you met Carlos. And yet, here you were years later about to marry him.
"(Y/N) I wish I could start off our vows by saying that since the moment you walked into my life I knew you were the one, but I can't. Because I actually ran into your life and knocked you down the first day you moved in. Plus, I didn't know I would love you this much till much later. I love you so much and you mean everything to me. You have always been there for me and I know you always will be. You support me in everything I have chosen to do in my life and I want to do the same for you. I'm so glad that you accepted to marry me because to me that means that you have faith in me, that you believe that I deserve you. Growing up together was great and now I can't wait to grow old together. I love you."
You tried to hold back your tears. He really was the sweetest man you ever met. And now it was your turn.
"Carlos, ever since you knocked me down and said you were my new friend I kind of guessed that we'd be best friends, always there for each other, always bailing each other out, and always supporting one another, but never in a million years did I think that I'd be marrying my best friend. You've been there with me through everything, whenever I wanted to runaway you knew where to find me. You're the reason I could never get away. You always told my parents where I was," you laughed a bit to yourself, "but I'm glad you did. With my first heartbreak you were there too. And I don't even remember how painful it was because you were by my side. One of my teacher once told me 'Love is a decision, not a feeling.' And that everything that makes it a 'feeling' is just your hormones. I've always believed that and now I can say that it's true. And I decide that I want to love you, forever." Carlos kissed your hand and looked at the pastor.
The pastor finally let you say your "I do's" and announced that Carlos could kiss you. This kiss was just like the first one, it gave you butterflies, you felt sparks, and it was the best one yet. It was just like your guys' first kiss as a couple, only this one was your first kiss as man and wife.
